When you’ve put care into your home, it’s lovely to have an entrance that feels just as much a part of it.

Our Cinnabar gate in RAL 7016 sits beautifully here, with clean lines and a colour that connects it to the house. The solid lower section adds some privacy, while the gaps above leave a view through to the front garden and home beyond.

A little space to yourself, and an entrance that still feels welcoming.

Feeling secure at home and keeping your entrance welcoming should go hand in hand.

This Ruby tracked sliding gate, finished in RAL 9005 black, brings the two together. The gaps between its horizontal slats offer a little privacy while allowing views through, so the entrance still feels connected to the space around it.

It’s a balance that makes Ruby a popular choice for both rural and urban homes.

A few lovely words from one of our customers.

We know that choosing new gates for your home comes with plenty of questions, and being there to help is an important part of what we do.

We want every customer to feel comfortable asking those questions and confident in the choices they make.

Thank you, Kieran, for sharing your experience with us on Trustpilot. We're really pleased to hear such positive feedback.

This bespoke Diamond sliding gate shows how much difference the right design details can make.

Finished in RAL 9005 black, the gate combines clean horizontal lines with striking square detailing to create a bold, modern entrance.

The detailing gives the design its own identity, while the black finish helps it sit beautifully within the wider setting of the home.

It is a strong example of a gate doing more than simply marking a boundary. It becomes a key part of the entrance and the overall look of the property.

A considered design, a confident finish, and a result that feels right for the home.

Project case study | Cinnabar sliding gate

A considered entrance for a family home.

When choosing a gate for your home, there's more to consider than the design alone. The finish, the surrounding architecture and the practical requirements of everyday family life all have a part to play.

This recent project brings those considerations together through our Orsen Cinnabar sliding gate.

The design

The flat-top tracked sliding gate features three-quarter solid boarding with a semi-private open top section, providing privacy while retaining a more open appearance across the upper section.

Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, the gate complements the existing red brickwork, creating a balanced entrance that feels at home in its surroundings.

The details that matter

With two children and two dogs at the home, safety was particularly important.

The gate incorporates a concealed safety edge catcher, designed with a recess that allows the safety edge to sit neatly within the catcher when the gate is closed.

A safety edge is designed to detect contact with an obstruction and trigger the gate to stop, making it an important component of an automated gate installation.

It's an example of how practical engineering can be incorporated without taking anything away from the finished design.

Completing the entrance

The project will continue with matching Orsen Cinnabar wall-top fencing along the adjoining brick wall.

This next stage will carry the same design and finish across the entrance, creating a consistent appearance between the gate and fencing.

We're looking forward to seeing the completed project and sharing the results.

Beautifully Secure.

Who says a sloping driveway has to limit your choices?

Every home is different, and sometimes the layout calls for a little more thought.

This beautiful pair of bespoke swing gates was designed to work with the slope of the driveway, creating an entrance that feels right at home in its surroundings.

Finished in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, the horizontal panels create clean lines, while the contrasting square inserts add a distinctive finishing touch.

It's a lovely example of how practical considerations and considered design can work together.

We'd love to hear your thoughts. Would you choose a design like this for your home, or would you prefer something a little simpler?

19/10/2026

We'd love your opinion on these four very different gate designs.

Choosing gates for your home is a personal decision. Some people prefer bold designs that make an impression, while others favour clean lines, subtle details and colours that sit naturally alongside their home.

We've picked four installations that show just how different an entrance can feel.

The question is, which would you choose?

Take a look through the photos and let us know in the comments. Are you team 1, 2, 3 or 4?

And if you could change one thing about the entrance to your home, what would it be?

15/10/2026

Your entrance should feel just as considered as the rest of your home.

This bespoke Orsen sliding gate is a lovely example of what can be achieved by bringing different design elements together.

The combination of horizontal and diagonal panels, finished in grey with a contrasting black frame, gives the entrance a distinctive look without feeling out of place.

And with a matching pedestrian access gate alongside it, the whole entrance feels connected.

Set between beautiful stone pillars, it's a design that works wonderfully with this modern property.

Beautifully Secure.

Great to meet the team at Jake & Ethan genie Brother's 💚 🧞‍♂️ at the FutureScape Event this morning. Brilliant to hear their story, and about the work that they do in and around Bristol. It’s always good to meet industry leaders, and it was great to spend some time discussing Orson, our own journey, and how we have got to this point.
