I’ve had time to scroll through my work Facebook this weekend and I must say I’m in shock. These prices and jobs you see on this picture is a pretty all round generic price list! I’m not saying it’s right or wrong as we should value our cleaners work and dedication. I just charge a fixed hourly rate I don’t differentiate between standard and deep cleaning,myself and Lilly do everything on both lists for the same hourly rate and we take pride in what we do (we don’t do oven cleans or end of tenancy or one off cleans as it takes up too much time and effort to fit around our regulars) I’ve always worried when implementing a price rise in case of losing clients but I think I need to value what we do as a team and how we go above and beyond for our lovely clients. I won’t be increasing our rates anytime soon but I’m going to change over from hourly rate to price per job so you are paying for our experience and high standard rather than the time it takes us to do a job as we always struggle with going over or having to do basic in some areas to be able to get to the next job, complete what is needed in the time given.
