🐀 This is why bird feeders can become a rat buffet...

It might look like this rat is just being adventurous, but the real attraction isn't the feeder itself—it's the easy meal.
Bird feeders often spill seeds onto the ground, creating a reliable food source for rats. Once they discover regular food, they'll keep coming back and may even decide to nest nearby.
That doesn't mean you have to stop feeding the birds. Instead:🐦 Use a seed catcher or tray.🧹 Clear up fallen seed regularly.🌙 Bring feeders in overnight if possible.🏡 Keep feeders away from fences, sheds, and walls that rats can easily climb.
If you've started seeing signs of rats around your garden, don't ignore them. Acting early can prevent a much bigger problem.

🐝 Wasp season is definitely here 🐝
We've been out treating plenty of wasp nests recently, and we're seeing more calls coming in every week as the weather stays warm.
The photo below shows one of the nests we dealt with before it was safely treated.
Although wasps are an important part of our environment, a nest close to your home, shed, loft, or workplace can become a real hazard, especially if you have children or pets.

Rats had nested inside a bed at this empty property — something we don’t see every day, but a clear example of how destructive an infestation can become when left unchecked.
Rodents can:
🐀 Destroy furniture and soft furnishings
🐀 Chew through wiring and pipes (fire risk)
🐀 Spread disease and multiply rapidly
