Well as you know we clean for a mixture of domestic and commercial properties. At our commercial property we leave a range of products and equipment ready for our visits and on a Friday morning one of our commercial clients likes to play a game with us. Phew that’s been a hot one today!

And the only team member who had a little wobble was Henry but that wasn’t his fault!

If you had seen our stories earlier today, we had to make an emergency swop of hoovers at one of our domestic cleans. Henry wasn’t turning on but it worked out to be that the electrics in the house had tripped!

But problem solved, electrics sorted out and we were back working our magic and getting all your homes lovely and clean again.

Happy Friday and what a start to the day!

We arrived at our first commercial clean of the day to find that there had been some building works carried out, and the trades person hadn’t cleaned up after themselves. Which meant all the debris was left on the floor for all the members of staff to walk into and around the building. It was like following Hansel and Gretel! 😂

But we got pulled Henry out and started hoovering and freshening up all the carpets and got them like new again!

Being a cleaner isn’t just “being a cleaner” 🧽✨

Somewhere along the way, we become part of the family.

We see the highs and lows of everyday life. The excitement of new babies, birthday balloons left hanging in the kitchen, anniversary flowers on the side, Christmas chaos, moving days, new pets, and the “I’ve completely lost control of this house this week” moments too 😂

We know when life is busy, stressful or just plain hard… and whilst we can’t fix everything, we hope walking into a freshly cleaned home helps take a little bit of the weight off your shoulders.

We celebrate with you when life is good and quietly help pick up the pieces when life feels heavy. Sometimes that means cleaning around toys whilst a tired mum grabs 5 minutes peace, sometimes it means helping elderly clients with the little things they can no longer manage themselves, and sometimes it simply means being a familiar face and a friendly chat with a cup of tea ☕️

We also care deeply for the older generations we clean for. We see their routines, their treasured homes, the little habits that make them who they are. And when they move onto their next chapter, we feel that too. Because after years of walking through their front door every week, they become more than just a client.

People often think cleaning is just wiping surfaces and emptying bins… but behind every clean is trust, care, loyalty, and relationships built over years.

We know where the good mugs are kept.We know which dog follows us from room to room 🐶We know which child leaves crumbs everywhere 😂And we know that sometimes what people really need isn’t perfection… it’s support.

So no… we’re not “just cleaners.”We’re part-time organisers, professional cobweb hunters, honorary family members, listeners, cheerleaders, and occasionally therapists armed with a mop 💙

I’ve got an exciting week this week too, as it’s my daughter’s 3rd birthday and my 40th on Wednesday!so it’s all things cake, sorting out presents and decorations at the moment!
