So spring has arrived which means ant season is here and we have already carried out many treatments over the last week.
Once the weather warms up the ants come out to find food to keep their nest alive at this early stage.
We advise to treat on the first sightings to prevent more eggs hatching which causes chaos come summer with flying ants.
Don't forget we are cheaper than the council for ants and wasps so call us first!

CLIENT – How much will it cost to do this job?
CONTRACTOR - £800

CLIENT – That’s too expensive for this job!
CONTRACTOR – How much do you think it should cost?

CLIENT – £200 max! It’s a simple job!
CONTRACTOR – I can’t do the job for so little.

CLIENT – People in your line of work want to make a huge profit!
CONTRACTOR – I’m sorry you feel this way. Why don’t you do the job?

CLIENT – But, but, I don’t know how to do any of that.
CONTRACTOR – For £300, I can teach you everything you need to know to do the job. You can then use £300 to do the job, and you’re still saving £200. Also, you will obtain all the knowledge and the experience for the next time you need to do this job.

CLIENT – Deal!
CONTRACTOR – Great! To start, you need to buy materials and to be qualified to apply licensed products.

CLIENT – But, I don’t have any of those products or qualifications and I can’t buy all that for just one job!
CONTRACTOR – Ok. I can rent you my knowledge for another £50. You’re still saving but can't use the products I'm qualified to use unfortunately.

CLIENT – That’s cutting my savings, but I will rent your knowledge.
CONTRACTOR – Perfect! I’ll be back Saturday and we can start.

CLIENT – Wait! I can’t Saturday. I only have time today.
CONTRACTOR – I’m sorry, I only teach others on Saturdays. I have to prioritize my time and my knowledge needs to be in other jobs I have during the week.

CLIENT – Ok then. I will sacrifice my family’s plans on Saturday.
CONTRACTOR – Right, me too! Oh, I forgot. If you’re going to do the job yourself, you need to buy the materials which you must be qualified to do.

CLIENT – But I'm not qualified to buy materials?
CONTRACTOR – I guess you’ll have to study then and gain your qualifications?

CLIENT – You know what? I’ve been thinking. Probably is better for you to do the job. It’s better to pay you to do the job right and not having to go through all that hassle.
CONTRACTOR – Good thinking. Sign here and let me get to work.

This is the truth. People are not just paying for a job, they are paying for knowledge, experience, tools, time, family sacrifices, and other things you bring to the table. Don’t let anybody dictate your worth.

As the weather is cold, rodents like to stay warm so what do they do? It is estimated that 80% of rodents will leave their natural harbourages (fields, farms etc) to move indoors to seek warmth and shelter. They will find the smallest of gaps to get into your kitchens, lofts, garages etc where they will find the food and warmth that they desire. This is when they can spread bacteria and cause damage to houses by gnawing through wires, loft belongings, fishing tackle etc.
If you notice any chewed belongings or droppings, deal with the issue immediately as rodents breed very quickly.
We recommend using a fully qualified and fully insured pest control company to deal with any rodent issues.

Deleted the old address as now based primarily in Northwich and surrounding areas to keep prices a lot lower than the national companies and the council!
12 years in and still going, not a bad feat these days for a small local independent business.

WASP SEASON IS HERE!
WE ARE CHEAPER THAN THE COUNCIL SO RING US FIRST!!
I see lots of "expert pest Controllers aka the general public" on here telling others to leave a wasp nest as they will die off naturally in September/October (imagine if your trade was commented on by people that have no idea what they are on about? Wouldn't it really annoy you?? Now I don't really like to get involved in what unqualified people have to say but in this instance I'd just like to point out some facts!

IF you wish to leave the nest alone then

1. The approximate size of an average wasps nest is 8000 wasps (a large nest can contain 20000!! ) which on average, 10% of that nest ( which will not be used again) will make new queens for next year. If you do the maths, you sure will have a lot more chance of having another wasp nest or 2 next year!
2. Wasps become very aggressive as the nest reaches peak numbers, causing aggrevation to anybody trying to have a drink or eating outside as they are now running out of food in the nest (another story is in how they feed but I'm not giving out my knowledge so unqualified pest controllers can then quote it!)
3.Wasps will chew through anything to accommodate their nest size, many of times I've had people call me saying "wasps have made a hole in the plasterboard in the ceiling and the bedroom is full of them, I need you ASAP" WOULD YOU LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN KNOWING YOU HAVE A WASPS NEST AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT???
4.Lots more reasons but I think I've stated the main importance of never letting them just die off?
To summarise, I advise never to leave a wasps nest on your property!!
And bare in mind that by eradicating 1 nest I'm costing myself future business!
I would just rather be honest and state the facts with this pest issue.
