Happy Sunday and Well Done to England for securing their spot in the Semi-Finals last night.. Mack was cheering them on!!

Some updates for you all:

Firstly, I am fully booked for July and with the continued hot weather I am monitoring the heat in the pod and on the ground outside on a daily basis but I have to put both the health of the pups and myself first so please be patient if I need to move or amend your appointments.

Secondly, I have been reviewing my working hours and diary over the weekend and need to have a reset on my work/life balance. I hate to say no to anyone and have always tried to accommodate times and days to suit you all. However, I have made the decision that going forward I will no longer be working late evenings and weekends. My first appointment of the day will be available from 8am and my last slot going forward will be 4:30pm at the very latest. This will still mean that for me I will be starting at 7:30 to prep and will be finishing between 6:30pm and 7pm each night, which is a long enough day without working later into the evening. I understand that this will affect a small number of you, but we can discuss plans going forward of how we can make appointments work. I will be in touch with those concerned separately over the coming weeks.

Evening everyone,

I think I have now caught up with everyone and replied to all message and scheduled all appointments. If I have missed you, apologises but please give me a shout and we can sort it out.

I would also like to formally introduce you to our new baby boy, Mack, who has has been with us for a week now and is 11 weeks old, settling in well and is a cheeky chap. I am sure many of you will meet him over the coming weeks and he does love a cuddle.. I am sure he will feature on my social media more and more going forward.

I also want to take this moment to thank you all for your kindness, support and friendship over the last few months (and much much longer for many). It’s been a tough time but made so much easier with you all and your pups.. 🐾❤️🐾

IMPORTANT:
It’s going to be another hot one this week and I am doing all I can to keep things cool enough to make it safe to groom your pups. However, I must ask that all dogs should be bought for their appointment in an air conditioned car, and where possible be carried into their appointments. The pavement is very hot along with my driveway and can cause burns to delicate paws.

Please refrain from walking your dogs before an appointment as well but try to ensure they are toileted before arriving as I am trying to take them straight into the pod and in the cool.

Morning all,

I am slowly working though messages and emails to get back to everyone. Please bare with me whilst I catch up.

Unfortunately the hot weather has caused me to have to close for a few days and so jiggling everything around to get everyone back in. Having a holiday didn’t help either 🤣

After a couple of difficult weeks at Toby’s Tail, of which I thank you all for your kindness and support, I felt it was time for some exciting news.

Please all meet the (soon to be) newest member of the Toby’s Tail family. This little boy will soon be joining the madhouse. Introducing ‘MACK’ Sampson..

EDIT: didn’t expect to phone to go mad but to clarify, Mack will not be a permanent feature in the grooming pod.. I will still be doing 1-2-1 grooms and all nervous and reactive dogs will continue to be welcome and won’t come into contact with him. He will only come into the garden in between appointments. WING WALK UPDATE:

Last Saturday I finally took to the sky and completed my Wing Walk.. 12 minutes strapped to the top of the place, 700ft and speeds of 110mph when diving towards to ground.. Was the most AMAZING experience and yes, I would do it again.. My pilot was a little young tho 😍
