A lovely old Sharp music centre, I thought my luck was in, once the drive belt was changed, the turntable worked perfectly, as did the tuner, unfortunately it's a different story with the cassette deck, all the rubber bits needed cleaning or replacing, but there's one unobtainable component stopping it from working, the reel takeup pulley, a rubber cylinder that slips over the capstan spindle. I have a good idea how to get over this using a bit of ingenuity, so, parts on order and we'll see how it goes when they arrive!
