Overall quality is better than rag wool that costs less, but these things stink, which makes me wonder about overall QC. Don't get me wrong, I wear wool a lot, I expect a smell, but I'm not exaggerating that these things came new, in the mail, smelling like the ass end of the animal. I had to hand wash them four times to get it out and the water was really dirty. For $30 they didn't wash it properly? Surprising. Anyway, despite the initial stinky situation, they've fit true to size, and are warm as you'd expect. Let's see how they hold up after a few years of wear...
