✨Happy 45th Birthday to Henry Hoover✨

This month marks 45 years of the iconic Henry Hoover!

I use both a Henry and a Hetty Hoover. They are so reliable, provide excellent suction, feature HEPA filters and are easy to maintain. Both mine receive regular sanitation cleans ensuring that they are always kept hygienic and ready to use.

My Hetty Hoover has a particularly special role. When working with clients living with memory loss or dementia I will always use Hetty, the pink design and distinctive eyelashes often help create a positive connection and familiarity that can help when clients may not actually be able to remember me.

Choosing the right equipment can help clients feel comfortable and at ease, which for me is so important ✨

Younger me had plans to run my own riding school.

I would sit for hours drawing out the yard design and naming all the horses.

I went on to enjoy a 14 year career working with horses and during that time I learned so much about empathy, patience and how powerful a calm, gentle presence can be.

My work now looks very different but the heart and soul of Sally Smith Specialist Cleaning is exactly the same.

Today, I support people with compassionate cleaning and hoarding support. Creating safe spaces for those who need it most ❤️
