But… who got the original use and location for the bonus petrolhead points…

A throw-back to the days when RR were controlled by Ford Motor Company… someone must’ve raided the Ford Es**rt or Ford Mondeo parts bins…

This button originally featured as either the sunroof tilt/slide button or the drivers seat height-adjust button on both of those models.

Full interior refresh for this Tesla Model 3 this afternoon.

Ok… I’ll ’fess up… this is mine… and it’s been neglected for months… the last time it even saw a vacuum was August last year. So today it got the full interior works…

✅ Vacuumed Throughout
✅ Pet hair removed (Detailing dog, Bliss, sheds for fun)
✅ Plastics cleaned and dressed
✅ Interior glass cleaned
✅ Leather cleaned & conditioned
✅ Steering wheel cleaned
✅ Mats scrubbed and dried (and then got footprints moving it back to the driveway)

I just fell back in love with it… and it’s ready for some summer days out.

A trip out to Dronfield today on the hottest day of the year so far, to see our annually returning client.

Whilst we ‘can’ cover Dronfield for large jobs and one-off bookings… it’s a bit too far out of our regular area to provide maintenance valet services… so we see this car once a year to get it back up to looking like new… and protected by our Graphene-Ceramic infused wax.

You really wouldn’t believe this little thing is almost NINE years old… and still shines like the day it left the dealership (unlike most Citroen C1s… that get battered around town bringing your uber eats order).

This job usually takes around 3.5 hours… today it took just under FIVE… the heat nearly finished us off… and if it hadn’t been for a large tree shading the car… we might’ve had to rebook it. (Only the second time in history I’ve been thankful of a car parked under a tree!)

June bookings are pilling up… don’t delay in booking if you’d like your car looking like this for those summer outings.

Long-term regular client in today with their Peugeot 3008 for a Full Detail, plus Graphene Shield Upgrade, Black-trim Restoration, and Fabric/Leather seat cleaning.

This car is coming up for SIX years old… and with the exception of a significant car-park d**k awaiting repair… could be mistaken for brand new… it’s only EVER been cleaned by ourselves.

The black trims were letting the image down on this (looking at you Stellantis with your poor quality plastics)… so we treated it to our long-life plastic trim restoration, using an oil-based product that FEEDS the natural oils lost… the cause of plastic greying. NO damaging heat-gun quick fixes here!

This client is one of many regulars we have who realise the value in regularly maintaining the condition of their vehicle. This car has a Graphene Shield application annually, and regular maintenance valets every four weeks.

In addition to maintaining the cleanliness, regular maintenance valets help retain the vehicle resale value… with the added bonus of buying back your time saved in not having to take the car to be cleaned or doing it yourself… instead allowing the use of that time more productively.

In today’s case… that translated to enjoying family time in the garden with their toddler in the unseasonal warmth… but could just as easily mean working from home, relaxing, socialising, or working out in a home gym.

‼️ Recommendations Please ‼️

It’s usually us recommending businesses that compliment what we offer… Alloy wheel repairs… Complete alloy refurbs and colour changes… Smart repairs… Accident Repairs… and Garage services…

But one thing we’ve never had is a trusted ‘Paintless Dent Removal’ (PDR) business to recommend to our clients.

So… has anyone used a LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS PDR in the past 12/18 months.They need to be MOBILE, local to or able to easily cover the MANSFIELD/CHESTERFIELD/ASHFIELD areas, be VERY good, REASONABLY priced (note… NOT cheap, but not excessive)… and an absoloute MUST … a Facebook business page showing plenty of examples of their work.
