Here’s Yasmine tackling a shower deep clean last week using our trusty Karcher SC3 steam cleaner ✨🫧

At Country Calm we invest in high quality equipment to help us achieve the best results possible, while keeping things as eco-friendly and low-chemical as we can 🌿

We were honestly amazed by how much hidden build-up the steam lifted from the grout and seals 👀 Steam cleaning can be incredibly effective for breaking down dirt, grease and limescale in hard-to-reach areas without relying on harsh products.

(Used carefully and on suitable sealed surfaces only, of course 😊)

Something exciting is arriving at Country Calm next week 🌿✨

Over the past few months I’ve been quietly developing my own signature collection of cleaning products, which we’ll officially start using in clients’ homes from next week 🫧

The aim has always been to create products that feel: ✨ calm

✨ effective
without the overpowering “chemical” smell many cleaning products have.

Each scent has been chosen carefully to suit the space it’s being used in 👀

Lemon & Eucalyptus
Fresh, uplifting and instantly “clean home” smelling. Designed to bring brightness and freshness throughout the home.

🪨 Stone & Marble Cleaner
Sweet Orange & Geranium
Softer and warmer, with a more elegant scent designed to complement natural stone and calmer living spaces.

🪟 Glass & Chrome Cleaner
Grapefruit & Rosemary
Crisp, fresh and sparkling. The grapefruit keeps it bright while rosemary adds a clean herbal depth.

🚿 Bathroom Cleaner
Tea Tree & Peppermint
Fresh, minty and spa-like. Designed to leave bathrooms feeling deeply clean and refreshed.

🛏 Linen Mist
Rose & Lemon
Soft, comforting and subtly luxurious. Rose is the hero scent, while lemon keeps it feeling fresh and airy rather than heavy.

I’d absolutely LOVE feedback from clients once you’ve experienced them in your homes 🌿✨ Scent is such a personal thing, so hearing what people naturally gravitate towards will really help shape the collection moving forward 🤍

A full day of home consultations yesterday — 6 in total! ✨

I was absolutely exhausted by the end of it, but also buzzing after meeting so many lovely, interesting people and being welcomed into such beautiful homes 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who has already secured a cleaning slot with us — I’m so grateful for your support as my little business continues to grow 🤍

Today I’m back to one of my lovely bi-weekly clients for a 4 hour clean… and of course, getting to fuss her two gorgeous dogs 🐾✨

Just a little note to say thank you for your patience while I catch up on admin from yesterday after today’s clean — exciting times ahead! 🌸

🧼 Availability:
• Weekly & bi-weekly cleans – Mondays & Fridays (from 11am)
• Bi-weekly clean – Thursdays

We offer a free, no-obligation home consultation so we can tailor the clean to suit your home and routine perfectly ✨

All cleaning is carried out using my own homemade, non-toxic products, scented with essential oils 🌿

I provide all equipment, so you don’t need to worry about a thing — including optional steam cleaning for floors.

We’re a small, Scarcliffe-based business covering Scarcliffe, Palterton, Bolsover and surrounding villages.

All cleaners are DBS checked, fully insured, and trained to a high standard.

I’m incredibly grateful to say I haven’t lost a regular cleaning client since starting — something I’m very proud of ✨

Our services are designed for regular, ongoing cleans rather than one-off bookings.

🌿 Meet the Team 🌿

I’m so happy to introduce Yasmine, who has recently joined me at Country Calm Cleaning 😊

Yasmine is a mum to a gorgeous 10-month-old little girl and lives locally in Bolsover with her fiancé. She has such a calm, caring nature and is a real natural when it comes to looking after others — something that really shows in her work.

She’s experienced, reliable, DBS checked, and takes genuine pride in creating a clean, fresh home environment for clients ✨

A little about Yasmine… she loves spending time with her family, cooking, and when she gets a rare moment to herself, you’ll often find her crafting or gaming locally in Chesterfield 🎮 She also recently helped her friends decorate their new home (with baby in tow!) — what a gem 💛

When she’s cleaning, she loves having her music on and getting into a good rhythm, which I think says a lot about how much she enjoys what she does 🎶

Yasmine will be working alongside me initially so clients can meet her and feel completely comfortable, and I’m really excited to have her as part of the team.

As the business grows, it’s so important to me that anyone joining shares the same care and respect for clients’ homes — and Yasmine absolutely does 🌿

💙 Giving Back Where It Matters Most 💙

From this month onwards, I’ll be offering ONE FREE clean every month to a SEND family 🏠✨

This is something incredibly close to my heart.
I’m a single mum to a non-verbal autistic 4-year-old, and I know first-hand how overwhelming daily life can be. Some days, just getting through the day feels like a huge achievement — let alone keeping on top of the house.

Right now, SEND families are at breaking point.
It’s everywhere in the media, but behind the headlines are exhausted parents, stretched carers, and families who desperately need support.

This is my way of helping.
A clean home.
One less thing to worry about.
A small act of kindness that I hope makes a big difference 💙
