Following a Pre-Purchase survey we carried out mid last year, today we carried out some recommended works, including a new crate style soakaway as the rainwater down pipe was draining onto the ground.
Obviously, over time, this could lead to damp and subsidence, so it was good to help get this rectified.

We managed to dig down through a clay level and hit gravels so ideal to allow the soakaway to drain efficiently.

A small repair today for a WPL diamond 💎 sewage treatment plant for a customer in Bashley, New Milton - Hampshire.

The charles Austin blower unit was found to be at fault so has now been replaced with a Secoh blower with a low preasure alarm system.

The system is now back up and running.✅️

Following a customer call ☎️ regarding blocked soakaway pipework, our team performed a high-pressure jetting service and cleared a significant root mass. CCTV inspection revealed that root ingress was originating within the soakaway itself and extending upwards into the pipework.

To avoid disrupting the patio, we decided to reline the existing clay pipework. We also extended the system by an additional 2 meters to comply with current building regulations and installed a crate-style soakaway unit in the lawn area.

Out with the old and in the with the new! 😎

19m meters of clay and pitch fibre pipework replaced today, which was bellied in places, causing the line to hold water.💦

✔️ The interceptor manhole has also been replaced with a new PVC straight through the unit.

✔️ The PVC pipe has been set at the correct hydrostatic fall and has been bedded with shingle to support.

✔️ Manhole has been installed with rockers and surrounded in concrete.

Stage 2 of the works will be replacing the old cesspit with a modern sewage treatment plant.

WPL diamond treatment plant draft tube repair today for a customer in Brockenhurst, Hampshire. ✅️

The draft tube had become detached from the tank body, so after contacting the manufacturer, a repair kit consisting of two supporting struts was sent out and has been successfully installed.
