Yesterday was the 115th year of International Women's Day!
Today, to mark the occasion and say thank you, we celebrated with pastries and breakfast pots from for our head office team.
While it's great to celebrate the day, our commitment to recognising and supporting women in the workplace is something we focus on all year round. We do this through daily action, some of which include:
- Hey Girls dispensaries in our head office provide free sanitary products and contribute to their Buy One, Donate One scheme, helping tackle period poverty - as well as installation on participating client sites
- A predominantly female workforce, over 60% of our employees identify as female
- Charitable giving to women-focused organisations, making a difference beyond our walls. In 2025, donations included; The Baytree Center, Girl Guides, Women and Girls Network, and Mammakind
- Menopause and Menstruation training, and policies in place; training is mandatory for all head office employees
- Flexible working options to support a healthy work-life balance
- Regular pay reviews to ensure equal and fair pay for all
- Confidential wellbeing support through our Health Assured programme, so colleagues can access help whenever they need it
- Mental Health First Aiders to guide and support
Through these intiatives, we hope to lead the way in the momentum toward ensuring equal opportunities, representation, and support for women in every industry and community.
