Driveway sealing isn’t the cheapest service we offer.

We know it’s not a service everyone can afford, and that’s absolutely fine. We charge a premium because we offer premium results using premium products, applied the way they were designed to be applied.

Could we offer a cheaper service? Of course.

We could give your driveway a quick mist of sealer and be gone in no time. But that’s not a proper sealing job, and it won’t provide the durability or finish you’re paying for.

Here’s what sets our process apart:

— Correct re-sanding —

This is one of the biggest mistakes we see. The kiln-dried sand should not be level with the top of the blocks. It should sit at the bottom of the chamfered edge, allowing the sealer to pe*****te the full depth of the joint and properly bind the sand together.

Before sealing, we also make sure every block is completely free of loose sand. Leaving sand on the surface can dry into a hazy, gritty finish that spoils the appearance.

— Two-coat application —

The first coat is a ‘flood coat’, designed to fully saturate the jointing sand so it cures into a solid, durable joint while laying down the first protective layer.

The second coat provides the final protective barrier against the elements and gives the driveway its rich, uniform finish.

There are no shortcuts. Just the right products, the right preparation, and the right application.

Full restoration of this driveway in Chislehurst, using our 4 step process;

1️⃣ Deep cleaned using appropriate chemicals to lift soiling and oily deposits

2️⃣ Treated with specialist biocide to remove any remaining organic staining (black spot, lichen etc.)

3️⃣ Re-sanded using fresh kiln-dried sand

4️⃣ Apply 2 coats of high quality resin-based sealer. This solidifies the jointing sand and creates a protective coating over the blocks that resists organic, oil and paint based stains. It also enhances the appearance of the blocks
