After 10 happy years running Beulah's Angels, it is with great sadness that I announce my decision to close my little business.
When the business was set up back in 2015, never in a million years did I think we would surpass a decade.
In that time, I employed 67 Angels and, together, we serviced 215 clients.
We even survived the pandemic.
Running your own business isn't easy, there is no Monday-Friday, 9-5.
If the phone rings, you have to answer it.
But throughout it all, it has allowed me to be a present parent to my children. And that has been my greatest accomplishment.
I've had some of the most wonderful clients over the years, and some have even become good friends.
We've always been a business with strong professional morals, tailoring our services to meet the specific needs of each and every client.
We've covered everything from domestic cleans, commercial cleans, end of tenancies, cleans after building works, personal administration support, ironing jobs, pet-sitting, the lot!
We've laughed together, cried together, experienced the good, bad and the down right ugly jobs. But it's now time for me to hang up the cloths and move onto something new.
The cleaning profession has become so competitive in recent years and I simply don't have the energy or passion to keep pace with that. It's time for me to explore pastures new.
I would like to thank each and every one of my colleagues and clients over the past decade. If it wasn't for my very first client, Jackie B, giving me the encouragement to go out on my own, none of what we have achieved in that time would have happened.
It's not easy being a cleaner: so much is expected of you and you play such an integral part in someone's life, yet this effort can often go unrecognised.
We will officially close at the end of March and will keep our socials running until then.
With thanks and best wishes to everybody that took this journey with me, it's been one hell of a ride.
Love Beulah x
