S I X - Six years ago today, Ava & Azar was born. 💙
Some of life’s most meaningful chapters are the ones you never plan.
What began as a moment of curiosity and creative therapy became one of the most serendipitous journeys of my life.
During an unexpected pause in my acting career, I found myself creating jewellery simply because it brought me joy. I never imagined those first experiments would grow into a business that would become such a huge part of who I am.
Along the way, Ava & Azar has also become a way for me to reconnect with my Persian heritage. Through designing and creating every piece, I’ve found myself learning more about the art, architecture and culture that inspire me, and celebrating a part of my identity in a way I never expected.
Alongside my career as an actor and singer, Ava & Azar has become a huge part of who I am. Running a small business is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. It’s a constant juggling act, an emotional rollercoaster, and there are days when it feels completely overwhelming. But it has also brought me more joy than I could ever have imagined.
The people I’ve met at events, the conversations I’ve shared, the kind messages, and seeing someone put on a pair of earrings and instantly stand a little taller… those moments remind me exactly why I do this.
To everyone who has bought a piece, shared my work, stopped by my stall for a chat, or simply cheered me on from afar - thank you. You’ve helped turn what started as curiosity into something so much bigger than I ever dreamed possible.
