After the wing mirror incident, we thought Sam's brand-new van had seen the worst of it... apparently not! 🤦‍♂️😂

Strike number two came when Pablo borrowed the van to deliver a hot tub cover. A cheeky stone flicked up and cracked the windscreen. Lovely.

Then came strike number three... Sam was out on a late-night leak repair when the fancy electronic handbrake decided it didn't fancy doing its job. The van rolled back about 6 feet and gently introduced itself to a wall. 😩

So there we have it... one week old and already sporting a smashed wing mirror, cracked windscreen and a dented rear end. You couldn't make it up!

As they say, bad things come in threes... so we're officially calling it there. No more surprises please! 😂🤞

Feel free to remind Pablo he's banned from driving it for the foreseeable future... although we're not entirely convinced Sam should be either! 😅

Foam-filled hot tubs... good or bad? 🤔

It's a question we're asked all the time, and while they do have their benefits, there are also some important drawbacks to consider.

From our experience, we try to limit the amount of work we take on with fully foam-filled hot tubs. Why? Because when they develop a leak, repairs can be incredibly time-consuming, messy, and much more difficult than a conventional hot tub where the pipework is easily accessible.

That extra labour often means repair costs can be 4–5 times higher than a straightforward leak repair on a non-foam-filled spa.

Yes, a foam-filled hot tub may save you around 10–15% on heating costs, but if it springs a leak, those savings can quickly disappear in repair bills.

Our advice? Before buying any hot tub, do your homework. Ask how easy it is to service, what happens if a leak develops, how accessible the plumbing is, and whether parts and technical support are readily available.

The cheapest hot tub to run isn't always the cheapest hot tub to own.

Today Sam and Pablo were in Bewdley delivering and installing this fantastic 2-person twin lounge hot tub from our Sunbeach Spas range.

The customer decided it was time to upgrade their previous hot tub after months of ongoing issues, delays, and frustration. Unfortunately, the original manufacturer was unable to supply the correct parts or provide the guidance needed to resolve the faults, leaving them without a solution.

Rather than continue waiting, they chose to invest in a new spa and have the old one removed. One of the biggest reasons for choosing Wyre Forest Spas was the peace of mind that comes with knowing any future servicing, repairs, or technical support can be carried out in-house by our fully trained team.

To make things even better, we installed the new hot tub indoors, meaning it can be enjoyed all year round, whatever the weather. With winters in their location being particularly harsh, this was the perfect setup for relaxing 365 days a year.

School holidays are here! 😅 You know what that means... free child labour! 😂 (Although, with how much it costs to keep kids entertained these days, is it really free? 🤣)

Dottie and Frankie were more than happy to lend a hand polishing the hot tubs in the showroom today, and it kept them busy for a good hour or so! 💪✨

It's all part of life in a family-run business, and they did a brilliant job. Safe to say they've definitely earned an ice cream! 🍦😁
