We are deeply saddened to share the passing of a very special boy, Reggie.
For 13 wonderful years, Reggie was Shirley’s constant companion, her “my boy,” her best friend, and truly a part of her heart. From the moment he was a puppy, they were inseparable, doing everything together and creating a lifetime of cherished memories.
Reggie brought so much joy not only to Shirley, but to all of us. He loved greeting our staff whenever he came into the office, always making time for a fuss and brightening everyone’s day. Over the years, he became a familiar and much-loved face to so many.
He was a dog of simple pleasures and big personality - never one to turn down a treat, from cheese to kebabs, and became such a regular that the shop owner would often ask, “What’s Reggie having today?”
He adored his sleepovers at his sisters’, car rides with the wind in his face (especially trips to Felixstowe beachfront), and though he loved the seaside air, swimming was never quite his thing.
Reggie even had his moment of fame as the football mascot for Whitton United Football Club when he was a puppy.
Most of all, he knew love. Shirley gave him the most beautiful life, filled with care, companionship, and happiness every single day.
Reggie passed peacefully at home, surrounded by love, comforted by his family, and with his furry sister Darcy and brother Luca by his side.
He will be missed more than words can say, but the love and memories he leaves behind will stay with us always.
Sleep tight, Reggie 💔
