24 years ago I opened the Kilsyth Carwash
It led to bonds that have lasted a lifetime
None more than Paul Ross
For 18 years we carved a path in this industry like no other
The first to be accredited by autoglym on an instructor level
The first to be accredited by autosmart and the first hand carwash in Scotland to use foam
Contracted to teach at the Arnold Clark valeting academy in bishopbriggs and the list is endless
But nothing comes close to seeing paul from 17 become a man a father my business partner and ultimately take the business over for himself
For me that bond and friendship is everything my career came too and when I think back on it I see paul mick craig and my first team that together we shaped an industry
Without Paul,and my brother and son Mr Bubbles would not be
The success story we are,was not overnight
Like any business that victory doesn’t belong to an owner investor but to the people making the working parts move
Paul Gordon and Reece are Mr Bubbles and for that I’m not just grateful I’m humble and owe everything

Sometimes I wonder how many cars we’ve actually washed
We averaged 22 an hour at KCW when it was busy
I don’t have customers I have friends and for that I’m grateful I truly am
We are a family and our work is hard
It’s made easy by you lot
I’ve had love,made friends I call family, been best man at weddings,laid friends to rest,held babies,all bonds through my path of work
On we tread
