As the weather starts to turn and you need one product to absolutely demolish winter grime, Pfe (PreFoam efficient) from Koch-Chemie is that ultimate pre-wash. 🍂
Don’t get us wrong, this is a professional product first and foremost. It’s a high-alkaline pre-wash that packs a serious punch, and used at the right dilution it cleans like nothing else.
In our own testing, mixed in the foam lance bottle and put through the pressure washer, bugs and road film lifted off the front end without us touching the paint. 🐞
How to get the best from it:
✅ Start weaker than you think. It’s a concentrate
✅ VDA Class B: a maximum of 1 minute at 100:1
✅ Keep the dwell short (a minute at most)
✅ Rinse before it dries, and keep it off hot panels
What does VDA Class B mean? The VDA (the German car industry body) tests whether car-wash chemicals damage sensitive metal trim at the maker’s stated dilution and contact time. Pfe is Class B, which for this one means a maximum of 1 minute’s contact. It’s a strong product, so mix it sensibly, keep the dwell short and rinse off before it dries.
Perfect for the first big wash of the season, a salt-covered winter daily, or anything that’s been neglected a bit too long.
