We Often Get Asked what the difference is between a single stage paint correction and a multi stage paint correction?
A multi-stage machine polish is the ultimate way to restore tired, dull, or heavily scratched paintwork back to a deep, glossy finish. ✨🚗
Our process includes:
🟠 Stage 1 – Heavy Cut (Wool Pad): We start with a heavy cutting compound and a wool pad to remove deep swirl marks, oxidation, heavier scratches, and paint defects. This is the most aggressive stage prior to wet sanding and levels the paint to create a fresh surface.
🟡 Stage 2 – Medium Cut: Next, we refine the finish using a medium-cut polish and pad. This removes any light haze left from the first stage while eliminating finer imperfections, bringing back colour and depth.
🟢 Stage 3 – Fine Finishing Polish: Finally, we use an ultra-fine finishing polish to maximise gloss, restore crystal-clear clarity, and leave the paint with a deep, mirror-like shine.
The result? A dramatically improved finish with enhanced colour, incredible gloss, and paintwork that looks as close to showroom condition as possible.
If your vehicle has swirl marks, scratches, or faded paint, a multi-stage machine polish can completely transform its appearance.
