£10.42 is current minimum living wage, that leaves £6.58 to play with..Before you question your cleaner on their hourly rate, take into consideration all the factors other then just ”cleaning your house, that £6.58 covers
•Tax
•Insurance
•fuel driving to and from your house recommended self employed mileage is 45p per mile, you can do the workings…( not to mention the 15 minutes we don’t get paid their, and back. Those 2 hours quickly turn to 2.15 hours.
•cost of products
•Cleaning the products used in your property (cloths, mop heads, Hoover bags and cleaning)
