Today we explored the stunning Saklıkent National Park, and yes, the hard hats were compulsory!
The boys absolutely loved it – climbing through the gorge, splashing through the freezing water and taking in some incredible scenery. It was definitely an adventure we'll all remember.
You can take the cleaners away from work, but you can't take away their appreciation for proper PPE and health & safety! 🤣
A fantastic family day out, plenty of laughs, and memories made that will last a lifetime. ❤️🇹🇷

🌞✈️ WE MADE IT! ✈️🌞

After months of early mornings, long days, endless cleans, paperwork, quotes, phone calls, and everything else that comes with running a business, we've finally arrived and are officially on holiday! 🇹🇷🍹

For the next 11 days, I'm swapping cleaning cloths for sunshine, checklists for cocktails, and alarm clocks for lie-ins (well... as much of a lie-in as you can get with children! 😂).

Thank you to all of our amazing clients for keeping us so busy and supporting Right Pair Of Scrubbers. Your homes, businesses, and trust mean the world to us. ❤️

For now, it's time to recharge, make memories with the family, and come back refreshed and ready to create calm from chaos all over again.

Whoever said “it’s too hot to clean” clearly hasn’t met a cleaner because unfortunately… we still have to go to work 😭☀️

Nothing humbles you faster than:
🥵 Hoovering upstairs in 30 degree heat
🥵 Deep cleaning an oven while sweating into your own eyeballs
🥵 Walking into a conservatory and immediately seeing your ancestors
🥵 Carrying a mop bucket while your bra has fully given up on life

People think cleaning is just “a quick wipe round”…

Susan, I am fighting for survival in your bathroom 😭😂

So this is your reminder to:
💧 Leave your cleaner some water
🪟 Open a window
☀️ And maybe say a little prayer for us this week

Because we are OUT HERE.

Today, Right Pair Of Scrubbers will be closed for business as we take the day to say goodbye and pay our respects to my amazing Nan-in-law, Jean 💛

No messages, calls, quotes or enquiries will be responded to today whilst we spend this time with family.

Jean was one of those women you never forget. Strong, loving, funny, caring and the type of person who made everyone feel welcome the second they walked through the door. She truly was amazing, and she will be deeply missed by us all.

Family comes before business today.

Last year, I had the honour of featuring in A Child’s Wish magazine in support of the amazing Make-A-Wish charity 💙
And this year… we’re proud to say we are featured again ✨

For those who don’t know, Make-A-Wish helps grant wishes for children living with critical illnesses — creating memories, experiences and moments of magic for families going through the unimaginable.
The magazine itself raised an incredible amount of money, and in Somerset alone nearly £95,000 was raised last year — which is absolutely phenomenal 👏

What makes me even prouder is knowing that around £3,500 of that came from businesses within touching distance of ourselves. Local businesses. Small businesses. People choosing to support something bigger than themselves 💛

As a mum, a business owner, and someone who sees families juggling life every single day, this was something I simply wanted to be part of. Supporting children and families during difficult times will always matter more than business alone.

Sometimes supporting something isn’t about what you get back from it. It’s about knowing a child somewhere got to smile because people came together 💫

Massive respect to everybody involved in making it happen again this year.

People think cleaning is all aesthetics and spraying Zoflora in slow motion for TikTok 😭

Meanwhile in reality…

✨ I’ve had furniture polish launch itself at my leg.
✨ The hoover has attacked my shins more times than I can count.
✨ I’ve scraped my knuckles on flooring samples.
✨ And the other day… I literally stepped backwards straight into the muck bucket 🤢💀

FULL FOOT.
IN THE MUCK BUCKET.

I just stood there questioning every life choice that led me to that moment 😂

Honestly if anyone wants to buy me a bulk pack of plasters I’d be forever grateful because my knuckles are absolutely hanging on for dear life right now.

Cleaning isn’t glamorous.
It’s bruises, cuts, sore backs, wet socks, mystery injuries and surviving purely on caffeine and chaos.

But the houses sparkle so we move 😭✨🖤💛

Last night was honestly one of those surreal moments 🥹💛

I genuinely went to attend a wedding yesterday… but between the congratulations, people asking for jobs, asking if we do certain types of cleans because they wanted to jump on board, people offering to design websites, telling me how proud they are of how far I’ve come… and the amount of drinks flowing 🍹🤣… I’m still not entirely sure if I attended a wedding or a networking event 💀

“Do you know how many times I voted for you?” “You are absolutely smashing it.” “We’re so proud of you.” “Can I work for you?” “Can I help with your website?”

It was honestly overwhelming in the best possible way.

When you’re in the middle of building something, you don’t always stop to realise how many people are quietly supporting you, watching your growth and genuinely rooting for you behind the scenes.

So thank you. Truly. To every client, supporter, friend, family member and person who has shared a post, voted for us, recommended us or believed in Right Pair Of Scrubbers… thank you 💛🖤

And lastly, congratulations to the bride and groom on an absolutely smashing night 🥂✨ beautiful wedding, amazing atmosphere and definitely a night to remember xx

2pm on a Saturday and we are officially CHECKED IN 💒🥂✨

Wedding mode is fully activated 😂🖤

For once there’s:
❌ No cleaning cloths
❌ No hoovers
❌ No diary rearranging

Just:
✔ Dressing up
✔ Family time
✔ Prosecco probably 👀
✔ Trying to relax for five minutes 😅

Honestly after the chaos of running a business all week, this is very much needed 💛

Now the real question is…
How long before I start silently judging the cleaning standards in the hotel? 😂🧽

SATURDAY = wedding mode activated 💒🥂🖤

For once… no mop in hand 😂

Today we’re swapping cleaning cloths for dressing up and heading off to celebrate a wedding 💛

And honestly?
After the chaos of work, school runs, diary juggling and running a business all week… getting glammed up and having a day off is VERY needed 😮‍💨✨

Current situation:
✔ Hair done-ish
✔ Outfit sorted (hopefully 😂)
✔ Trying not to leave everything until the last minute
✔ Already thinking about the buffet 👀

So today the scrubbers are off duty… unless somebody spills prosecco on the tablecloths 😂🥂
