Still putting up with that smell & Stain?

If your carpet, sofa, or mattress still reeks of odours and stains— no matter what you’ve sprayed, scrubbed, or tried — you already know: surface treatments don’t work.

Every day you wait, the odour sets deeper. And the longer it sits, the harder (and more expensive) it becomes to fix.

You don’t need to replace your carpets or sofa. You need the right treatment — once.

At Puro Cleans, we use high-powered specialist machines to eliminate stubborn stains and odours at the source. Not masked. Not covered up. Gone.

✅ Deep fabric restoration for carpets, upholstery & mattresses
✅ Effective on pet urine, old stains & ingrained odours
✅ Affordable — a fraction of the cost of replacing your furnishings
✅ Available for homes and commercial spaces across Exeter & Devon

There’s no reason to keep living with it. Book today and notice the difference tomorrow.

9 CARPET HABITS THAT SAVE YOU MONEY (AND A FEW TEARS)👇

Number 8 is the one most people get wrong.

1️⃣ Shoes off at the door - Most carpet dirt is tracked in, so this one habit does more than any product. Doormats help too!

2️⃣ Vacuum before it looks dirty - Grit works like sandpaper under your feet, wearing down fibres with every step.

3️⃣ Blot, don't rub - We know the panic when red w**e hits the carpet, but rubbing only pushes it deeper.

4️⃣ Go easy on the baking soda hacks - The residue stays behind and attracts even more dirt.

5️⃣ Shuffle your furniture now and then - It stops those stubborn dents from becoming permanent.

6️⃣ Act fast on spills - Minutes matter. The longer it sits, the harder it is to shift.

7️⃣ Book a professional clean every 6-12 months - Carpets can look fine while bacteria and allergens quietly build up underneath.

8️⃣ Keep hot water away from wool and delicate rugs - It can shrink the fibres or make the colours run. A lot of people learn this the hard way!

9️⃣ Swap your vacuum filter regularly - A clogged one just blows dust straight back into the air you're breathing.

These habits really do help, but vacuuming can't reach everything a professional clean can.

Pop us a message and we'll get you booked in before the diary fills up 💙

IT WAS MY WIFE'S BIRTHDAY. MY BIGGEST CLIENT CALLED. WHO DID I PICK?

Thanks for your suggestions. Here's what I did.

I chose... BOTH.

Our brunch outside Exeter moved to later in the day, and we still enjoyed every bite. I made up for it with a bigger gift and,

I said YES to the holiday she's recently been asking for.

My wife always comes first, and she gave me the go-ahead herself. My client had an emergency conference that afternoon and needed their spaces cleaned and dried in time. They trusted us, and we delivered. It was a one-off, and they know that.

Now, about that holiday 😂 She's waiting, all that's left is to fund it. Been putting off a clean? This is your sign.

What we offer:

• Carpet cleaning
• Upholstery cleaning
• Rug & mattress cleaning

Follow our page for 10% off your clean, plus first access to offers that only go out here.

I'll reveal my choice in tomorrow's post 👀 (My wife will see this too 😅)

PET WEE AND POTTY-TRAINING ACCIDENTS THAT SOAKED RIGHT INTO THE CARPET

We see this a lot. By the time we get called out, it’s not just sitting on top of the carpet anymore — it’s soaked down into the underlay.

And it’s not just about the smell. Old urine breaks down over time and gives off ammonia, which can make a carpet a bit of a breeding ground for bacteria — right where your kids are playing and crawling.

So if your little one’s been sneezing or getting itchy skin for no obvious reason, it might be worth checking what’s actually in the carpet, not just what’s on top of it.

We do:
👉 Carpets & rugs
👉 Upholstery
👉 Mattresses

Message us, we’ll take a look and give you an honest answer.
