❤️ A LITTLE UPDATE FOR MY LOVELY CLIENTS ❤️

Some of you may have noticed that I'm constantly coughing while working. Unfortunately, after years of using strong cleaning chemicals, it's started to take its toll on my health.

For the sake of my health and wellbeing, I've made the decision to make some changes to the products I use on a daily basis.

I'll be moving towards gentler, less harsh and less heavily fragranced cleaning products, avoiding unnecessary strong chemicals wherever possible.

Please don't worry, this doesn't mean any change in the standard or quality of my cleaning! I'll still be working just as hard to keep your homes sparkling clean. ✨

It's simply about finding better alternatives that are kinder to my health while still being effective at getting the job done.

I hope you lovely lot understand and support me in making this change. After alot of years cleaning and working early mornings to late evenings/nights, we breath these chemcials in all day long every single day.

We have been super busy with regular clients lately we havent posted much, so we thought we would leave a quiz questionnaire for you!

Ill leave my answers next to the questions, you leave yours in the comments..

*Fact* Did you know your kitchen sponge can carry more bacteria than a toilet seat? What should people do about it? (Always change regularly, use antibacterial washing up liquid, never leave in dirty water.)

1. How often should you actually change your bed sheets?
(Once a week)

2. How often should you clean your washing machine?
(It depends on usage/animals ect, work clothing. But you should always antibacterial your washing machine, put it on a drum clean cycle, and put antibacterial in your laundry because the water alone does not wash away germs, and bacteria. If you don't do this you'll build up with limescale, grime, mould and bacteria.)

3. What’s one household item people forget to clean regularly?
(REMOTE)

4. How often should you clean your fridge?
(I do once a week, in preparation for food shop)

5. What’s the difference between cleaning, disinfecting and sanitising?
(ALOT of cleaning products do not have any antibacterial cleaning agent in them, so alot of the time you clean actually your killing no bacteria)

6. Why does dust come back so quickly after cleaning?
(Dust is dead skin cells, they float in the air, and no matter if you have just wiped a surface, they will always land back down)

7. How often should you vacuum your mattress?
(Once a week when changing linen)

8. What’s the best way to clean fingerprints off doors and light switches?
(Disinfectant/antibacterial)

9.Which areas of the home usually have the most germs?
(Bathrooms & kitchen, teenage rooms 😅)

10. Why should you clean from top to bottom?
(Always work down, although I always like to tackle kitchen first in my job, as its usually the biggest)

11. Why is it important to regularly clean your vacuum cleaner?
(Keep germs from mounding up, keep it smelling fresh, keep the hoover lasting longer, maintaining hoovers helps them stay alive longer)

12. How often should you wash your towels?
(I do twice a week)

13. What happens if you leave limescale untreated?
(Limescale can build up to the point its a very big job to get rid of, on alot of taps and glass its absolutely fine to clear, BUT alot of new showers usually the folding small sliding door ones have CROME paint (that looks silver) at the bottom, and it attracts limescale like no tomorrow BUT when you clean this because its not chrome the chemical can sometimes burn this to a different colour and damage completely or when you chip away at limescale it will completely peel off the paint, there's no going back.
Also watch out for illnesses!

14. Why do some surfaces streak after cleaning?
(Too much chemicals, wrong chemicals, not using buffing cloths, not using fresh cloths, washing cloths with softener!

(Strangely nothing weird, I wouldn't disclose any way, but I once found a super old Polaroid in a draw, super cute)

(End of tenancy are the best)

(Glass)

(Generally dont have one)

(Clean as I go, or clean before I start. I cannot unpack shopping in a cluttered or messy kitchen, or I cannot bake or cook in a kitchen that has things on the surface or draining board or even the floor 😂)

●What’s your biggest cleaning ick?
(I don't particularly have one, maybe cold water left in the sink from washing up)

●What’s one cleaning job you secretly enjoy?
(Limescale)

(Nothing in particular)

(Kitchen, most time consuming, once that's done everything else is a breeze)

Cleaner Wanted – Regular Airbnb & Casual/Cover Work

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy cleaner to join our team.
The main role will be regular Airbnb cleaning work on check-out and check-in days, with additional casual work available to help with overflow and to cover holidays, sickness and other regular work.

Plenty more work for someone who is looking to add more to the rota.

The role will mainly involve cleaning holiday lets (Airbnb properties) and domestic properties in Ely and the surrounding villages.
Hours:
• Part-time
• Flexible, mainly during school hours
• Additional hours available during busy periods
• Weekend work availability but not needed.
What we're looking for:
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Good at time keeping
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently
• A friendly and professional attitude, as you'll be cleaning for both regular clients and Airbnb guests

Hello everyone,

☀️ **Weather Update** ☀️

With temperatures forecast to reach **35°C on Tuesday and Wednesday**, please be aware that your scheduled clean may need to be postponed and rearranged.

Cleaning is physically demanding at the best of times, and working in extreme heat while carrying heavy equipment and vacuum cleaners throughout the day can become unsafe. We want to ensure we can continue providing the best service while also looking after our health and wellbeing.

If your clean does need to be rescheduled, I will contact you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative appointment before your next regular clean.

🌞 HOT WEATHER NOTICE 🌞

With the temperatures rising this week, the wellbeing of our staff is our priority while they continue providing the best service possible.

Cleaning is physical work, with constant movement and carrying equipment. Therefore we kindly ask clients to help us keep working conditions as cool and safe as possible by:

• Keeping blinds and curtains closed where possible
• Allowing windows to remain closed during the hottest parts of the day
• Please note conservatories will not be cleaned during extreme heat due to unsafe temperatures
• If possible, offering staff drinking water would be greatly appreciated 💧
• Whilst we will try to stay on time your scheduled clean may be a little later whilst staff take short breaks.
