The Humble Toaster 🍞.

One minute you're making breakfast, packing lunches, answering questions, feeding pets, finding lost shoes 😅...

The next thing you know, the toaster has quietly collected months (or years 👀) of crumbs and burnt-on marks/rust.

It's one of those things we see every day, so eventually we stop noticing it.

No judgement here 💜

Life gets busy. Homes get lived in. And the toaster gets toasting.

But with a little time, care and attention, even like the humble toaster can be brought back to life ✨

Watching the shine return is oddly satisfying 😍

Came home with more than just a bag of dirty cloths today 🧩 💜

My client asked if my children liked puzzles and handed me all these (and the three books 📚 ).

She also said that's one way to declutter 🤣... I now need to find a home for them 😅. They will be well loved and looked after 🫶.

Honestly the thoughtfulness is never taken for granted, whether that's todays puzzles, asking how my children are, welcoming them into their home, taking time to listen to me ramble off my parenting life 😅, crocheting a blanket, to offering ideas on days out.

It's the most heartwarming, wonderful feeling to feel so included along with the time and care invested in me as a person not 'just' a cleaner. 💜

I often get offered a cup of tea, or invited to help myself to a cuppa. I always politely decline due to the fact I can't have tea without biscuits, and once the biscuits are opened they are erm gone 😅.

My client had messaged saying she had built a little unit that didn't fit in the wardrobe, and that it was left in her bedroom. She had thought about putting it in the boys bedroom in the sensory area... so here we are 🤫🤗.
