What an absolutely stunning floor to work on over the last few days! I really did put a crazy amount of effort into detailing this floor, and getting it spot on before I returned to apply the sealer. This floor really has been given the best treatment, and hopefully will continue on for many centuries!

First impressions are so important for people when coming on holiday. If the guest has to walk through a communal stairwell to get to their apartment, that stairwell has to be clean! This one is fresh and ready to go for the next guests!

This beautiful old chair has seen a lot over the years — happy memories, difficult times and plenty of life in between.

It was lovely to give it a really thorough clean and help prolong its life, ready for its next chapter in our home where I know it will be truly cherished!

It's fair to say, this is fairly satisfying! The big cleanup after the scooter rally at golden coast holiday park!

You wouldn’t believe this floor is over 100 years old…

This beautiful Victorian tiled floor dates all the way back to 1912 — and today it’s had the finishing touch it deserved.

On my first visit, I stripped the floor right back, removing years of built-up dirt, grease, old cleaning residues and general grime. The aim was to get back to the original tiles and give them a proper clean slate.

Then, a few days later, I returned to apply the final protective treatment.

I used a fantastic premium sealer from chosen not just to enhance the natural colours of the tiles, but to give them long-lasting protection too.

It really brings out the depth and character in the tiles, while helping protect against staining and everyday wear. It’s breathable and designed to pe*****te into the tile rather than simply leaving a heavy coating sitting on the surface.

And the result?

The colours have really come alive, the tiles have so much more depth, and this beautiful 114-year-old floor is now protected and ready for many more years of use.

A proper transformation — and one I was genuinely delighted with. Another Victorian floor ready for the next chapter of its life!
