I have noticed a few of these companies posting begging adverts for work on facebook groups in Devon. They are usually based In larger cities and travel hours to get to customers and then over charge for extra jobs by intimidating customers in their homes. Absolutely awful. Just posting/sharing this so more people are aware. Shop Local and check that the company has an established business in your area.
