🌙 Self-Employed Sleep-in Care Assistant Required

We’re looking for kind, reliable female care assistants to support a female client living with Parkinson’s and frailty.

This is primarily a sleep-in role with minimal overnight support required, although occasional waking nights may be needed.

📅 Expected to start in approximately two weeks
💷 Good rates of pay
🤝 The role can be shared between care assistants

This is a self-employed position directly with the client, with Devon Helping Hands providing daytime support.

💛 Sometimes a change of scenery and a little company can make such a difference.

Social outings and companionship are such an important part of what we do at Devon Helping Hands, it isn’t always about care in the home.

Our wonderful Anne has been feeling a little down recently, so today we’ve done something a bit different. My boys and I are heading out to support a local memorial tractor run and, as Anne lives right along the route, it was the perfect opportunity to get her out of the house to enjoy some company, fresh air and all the tractors passing by. 🚜💛

And of course, the Devon Helping Hands children came along too! 🥰 Sometimes having youngsters around, sharing a laugh and simply being part of something happening in the community can really brighten someone’s day.

With Anne’s permission, we’ve taken a few lovely photos to share. 📸

We’re looking for a reliable, caring and friendly self-employed PA/Carer to join our small team and provide support to clients between Chulmleigh and East Worlington.

💙 The role includes:
• Regular bedtime visits a couple of evenings each week
• Weekend cover when required
• Holiday and sickness cover
• Potential for additional daytime hours if wanted

This could be perfect for someone looking for a few regular hours each week alongside other work or commitments.

💷 Good rates of pay
🚗 Own transport essential due to our rural locations
📋 Self-employed position – appropriate insurance required
✅ DBS required
