Six years old, never cleaned before dirty, flattened and stained… and an iSense carpet to make matters even more interesting, every carpet cleaner hates these; myself included 😂
iSense carpets really are the bane of carpet cleaners. Nobody particularly enjoys cleaning them because getting that pile looking right again can be an absolute nightmare.
As you can see from the finished result, there's different colour areas.
That isn't dirt left behind.
It’s the way the pile is lying after cleaning and the way the light catches it differently. With this type of carpet, getting the pile looking perfectly uniform again isn't always possible, particularly after six years of wear and traffic.
The important thing is the carpet is considerably cleaner than when we started, and we've removed years of accumulated dirt and staining without leaving a load of soap behind. Check the water dump at the end of the video.
This is exactly why professional carpet cleaning isn't simply about making a carpet look wet and then extracting it.
It's about understanding the carpet, the fibres, the pile and what can realistically be achieved.
I hate mentioning the C word but our savvy customers are already booking up for it.
