Called to a wasp nest today and came across this rascal trying to get into the wasp nest. Never seen this behaviour before so took a picture of it. I have identified it as a Great Pied Hoverfly which lays its eggs in the wasp nest and its larvae feed on the larvae of wasps and dead adults. You learn something new every day. Of course I could have mis-identified the insect, and if anybody knows different please let me know.

Last night I was on the TV doing battle with a wasp nest in the ground. The programme was Selling Houses With Amanda Lamb. I will post a video here in the near future and also on the website. Thank you and may you all be blessed with happiness.
