RANT OF THE DAY 🙈.

Cleaning companies/ cleaners seem to be the only trade to work on an hourly rate.. any other service based business DOES NOT work on hourly rate.. your hairdressers, electricians plumbers there all job based rates.. why is it that we are working on an hourly rate?

I ask because of this …

Customer : hannah the girls left 4 minutes early this needs to be taken off the bill?

Me : Umm no it doesn’t. Did they complete the clean to standard?

Customer : oh yes cleaning was lovely as always.

Me: then the full bill still stands.

This attitude needs to change massively, and I honestly think we should be working on a job rate and I feel like it’s something I’ll be implementing going further .

You don’t say to your hair dresser oh it didn’t take as long today I’ll have my hair done cheaper? This narrative that we clean your whole house, keep your home sanitised and fresh and then you want to try to deduct money off your bill it’s INSANE.

Myself and all of my staff work to the very highest standard and it’s insulting.

What are your thoughts on this? 💛🙈
