Couple of Before & After Pictures from one of yesterdays jobs.

I priced this job 4 months ago from some photos I was sent via Facebook.

Booked the job in last week & completed it yesterday.

Customers were gathering some quotes. Ended up with me. 🤣

This property was 2 flats that looks like a large house. That explains why the upstairs windows are a different style from the ground floor windows.

No trickle vents on any of these windows so that saved me some time. 😍

This property was in an area that is new to me. I see some potential around there. I should canvas it at some point. Once you get a few jobs in an area, you slowly start to pick up more over time. 🙏

These windows had not been cleaned for at least 8 years.

Cleaned up similar to the rest of the houses I have cleaned in this area. I have done so many now I rarely take photos. 🤣

One thing I did notice on this clean was a couple of the window panes were damaged. Looks like they had been hit with something or maybe had a stone thrown at them. Told the customer, she hadn't noticed them before.

Van key FOB stopped working on Friday, took the key apart Friday evening expecting it to just be a flat battery but it was a broken terminal connecting the battery to the circuit board. Found a replacement on amazon and fix it. Only issue I have now is the key case is broken so Ive had to glue the key back together and put a bit of tape on it just incase the glue doesn't hold. Im going to have to get a replacement key at some point. At least the FOB's working again.

Wheel on my hose reel fell off. Luckily when it fell off I heard the little washer that holds it on fall off and I picked it up and put it in the van. Easy fix.

Has been a good week this week however. Been a busy week. Only had 2 jobs reschedule. I've noticed I get a lot more jobs rescheduling in the summer months compared to the winter months. Was the same last year.

Looks like the heat wave we have recently had has come to an end. It's been a real struggle working in the heat. Weather forecast for this week is expecting it to be a lot cooler. 🤞

Gutter Clean when the suns out. 😎

Don't do as many gutter cleans in the summer months compared to the winter months. Do get the odd one from time to time however. 👌

Little Sunday Love job. ❤️

My auntie gave me a call Friday evening and asked if I could have a go at unblocking her drain. I couldn't sort it out yesterday because I didn't have my van. That was in the garage getting some work done. Popped over this evening and sorted it out. 💪

They have recently had a new bathroom fitted, however, the drain was blocked with from what looked like grout. I guess the tiler was washing his bucket and pouring it down this drain.

Didn't take long to unblock it. Sucked as much as I could out using the gutter vac then grabbed the rest out using my hands which was stuck around the U bend. Flushed it through and was as good as new. 🥳

Fascias & Soffits Front & Back 😍

If safe to do so, I like to clean Fascias & Soffits by hand. I start off getting the bulk of the dirt off using my Water-fed Pole. Then finish them off by hand. Takes time, but I think that gives the best results. That's all I care about. 🤣

My last job of the day cancelled when I arrived, not idea but at least it gave me time to go get my haircut.
