Please join us in welcoming Brackley’s new Mayor, Cllr Jason Kew, who will be serving the town for 2026/27 👏🏻

Jason and his family have called Brackley home for many years, after first moving to the town in 2006. Since becoming a councillor in 2019, he has been passionate about supporting the local community and helping shape Brackley’s future.

Speaking about his appointment, Jason said: “It is a great honour and privilege to serve as Brackley Town Mayor for 2026/27. Brackley means a great deal to me and my family, and I am incredibly proud to represent the town over the coming year.”

We are also pleased to share that Jason will be writing a monthly Mayor’s Column in the Life in Brackley magazine, giving residents an insight into local events, community updates and life as Mayor. 🗞️

We look forward to working with Jason over the coming year and sharing his updates with you all!

As we mark the end of Mayor Bernie Tiller’s term today, we would like to take a moment to share his final column from this month’s Life in Brackley magazine.

Over the past year, Bernie has reflected on his time meeting residents, visiting schools, care homes, local groups and businesses, and experiencing first hand the kindness and community spirit that makes Brackley what it is.
