Patio clean in Blyth today! This was a tough one. Heavily stained with black spots and algae but we persevered (took a few treatments 🥵) and got the job done 😀. Looking loads better 🙌🏻

Honed Rainbow Sandstone!🌈

This is the first time I’ve got my hands on cleaning this stone. At last! It’s a beautiful stone with rich and vibrant colours running through. Unfortunately it had become dull, wearisome, tired, lethargic…. But not now 👍🏻

This is from day one of the patio restoration where we’re not only cleaning the patio, but we’re also sealing and re grouting it too! The grout (if you follow my posts you’ll know) is Nexus Titan, a two-part epoxy mix which is as hard as nails and will last many years! The sealer will protect the slabs, enhance those colours even more so, and stop the slabs from weathering 😀👍🏻.

This is a rear Indian Sandstone Patio Restoration, using the one-and-only Projoint Titan for re-grouting the joints. Because the rear of this property sits in the shade for most of the day, naturally the slabs were heavily stained. But we took care of it! After pressure washing we killed off all the organic build-up, ground out the joints (actually we did this first) and then re filled the joints with Titan.

There aren’t that many photos of this job as we were too focused on trying to navigate around. It sometimes felt like we were playing twister 😅

A logistic nightmare at times. Mainly with it being such a tight squeeze. But we got there in the end. I feel like now it’s clean and complete it’ll be a good place to come and have a cuppa and doing some reading 📖👓. Maybe some biscuits as well 🤔😏

Boy oh boy what a job 🥵. I think the last time this was cleaned was when England last won the World Cup 😅. A deep clean and many treatments later and what a difference! We added a biocide at the end to continue to clean the blocks and lift the last of those stubborn stains.

Damn I’m pooped. I really need keep posting and updating you with what we’re doing because had some amazing transformations over the last few weeks and I haven’t posted anything. To be honest I haven’t been taking any pictures. I’ll start doing that first. Anyways happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend 👍🏻
