It is with great sadness that we announce that Smart Press on Alfred Street will close on 31st October.
We have worked hard to make this location a success, and we are deeply disappointed that we have been unable to do so. High energy prices, alongside the additional costs being placed on small businesses, have made it impossible for us to continue trading here.
This is particularly sad for us because we wanted to carry on the legacy of Finbar and Sandra. Our families have known each other for 40 years, and that personal connection made this much more than a business venture.
For your future dry cleaning needs, our nearest locations are:
• Lynns Laundry — 76 Whitegate Drive, FY3 9DA
• The Wash @ Central — 150 Central Drive, FY1 5EA
• Lytham Road Laundry — 320 Lytham Road, FY1 6EY
If you currently have items with us, please be assured that they are safe. We will contact everyone with items awaiting collection. Nothing will be disposed of, and any items uncollected when we close will be moved to Lytham Road Laundry for safekeeping and collection.
Our existing telephone numbers will remain active, so you will still be able to contact us.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Smart Press over the years. We are very sorry to be saying goodbye to Alfred Street, and we hope to continue looking after you at our other locations.
