Nicola’s ironing and sewing services I offer an ironing service, plus a sewing repair/alteration service. I DONT DO… bedding, towels, wedding dress or delicate material.

I keep my pricing simple:
0-19 items £25
20-29 items £30
FREE collection within 1 mile of me then £1 per mile after that.

And just like that I’m back to work 😍 and I love it!!!
I’ve missed it so much but health has to come first!!
My sewing slots this week are all fully booked 👍🏻 and I have 2 ironing slots left… for tomorrow, return Thursday.

Yay it’s Friday again!!
After a forced week off (I had an operation on Tuesday) I’m now feeling a lot better than I thought I would so I’m definitely returning to work Monday.
Most of my ironing slots are already booked, and just a couple of sewing slots left.
I couldn’t help myself today and did a gentle hand sewing repair… I love these so much because it means the item can be used again and stops it going to landfill. It’s such a nice coat as well.. I’m happy to fix it 😊

My ironing rail… empty… but now it’s full with clients ironing… I won’t post their personal items… but it’s so satisfying to see shirts and dresses all lined up, wrinkle free and bagged ready for delivery 🥰
I’m based in Bishops Cleeve… I get a lot of enquires from customers who are a bit far away. I do offer a collection service but only for a local area… Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Winchcombe and surrounding villages.

After a surprise birthday weekend away… I had no idea where he was taking me 😍 . 3 nights staying at Lindisfarne… so magical and so quiet once the tide came in the island is cut off. I feel inspired to sew more and work on my personal collections for my website (that I’m still working on)
I’m still doing ironing and repairs… but do want to start pushing my own brand.

Well the madness and chaos of race week is over… now back to normal working times.
I have a couple of ironing slots this week but no sewing ones as I’m full with repairs and and alterations for the week.

Having spent years working in health care and the NHS (and having to leave for personal reasons) I’m so happy that I’ve found another job that I really love… yes it might not be with my lovely dementia patients… but I get to work from home, be there for my family and also take some pressure off other families…. Plus I could actually iron all day long!!!
