Last week, Dawn hosted a webinar with COBIS - Council of British International Schools talking about the effects the digital world is having on building confident, capable children. 🙌

During this, and in the world of the Junior Duke, we use a lot of terminology you may have heard before, however our definitions may be slightly different to yours.

Take a look at Volume 1 of the Junior Duke Dictionary, what does each word or phrase mean to you? We want to hear your thoughts! And there is plenty more where that came from! Let us know if you want to see Volume 2. ✍️

We’ve had a complaint…

A founder’s worst nightmare - Subject: A complaint…

However, this complaint was bittersweet! 🍰

Thank you Kate, for sharing the buzz of the Junior Duke in your school, it’s messages like this that mean the most, hearing that children are genuinely excited to be helpful, independent, proactive and happy! We do, however, apologise for forcing delicious bakes on you!

Murray is heading to KENYA! 🇰🇪

Dawn’s younger son (and original Junior Duker!) Murray has been selected as part of the Scotland Rugby 7s team as they head to Nairobi for the Safari 7s tournament.

If you are one of our Junior Duke schools in Africa and are travelling to Nairobi to support the tournament, give the Scotland boys a big cheer, particularly the blonde number 1! 🌟

If you get the chance to say hello to Murray, grab a picture with him and send it to us, and we will give you a level of the Junior Duke Award for FREE! 🙌
