Family funday for a good cause
On Sunday 2nd March 2025, from 11am onwards at Falkirk Stadium, Alzheimer Scotland will be hosting its first ever version of Soccer Aid: Shooting Stars.
Shooting Stars is an opportunity to raise awareness that physical activities, such as football, are good for the brain and help to reduce your risk of dementia, if played safely and preventive guidelines are adhered to. The event will be an opportunity to further raise awareness of the current prevention guidelines.
The afternoon will kick-off with lots of interactive stalls and stands for attendees to engage with. Concluding in the much-anticipated football match. The match itself will feature well known faces from the sport, music and film industry, with the football match itself consisting of 30 minutes each way. Half time entertainment and post-match photo opportunities with playerswill be available.
In addition, a ticket-only Sports Dinner will take place at the Raddison Blu Hotel, Glasgow, a drinks reception will commence at 6:00pm with dinner being served at 7pm followed by a live and silent auction with the night rounding up around 11pm. The night will include, a two-course meal, a guest speaker and silent and live auction. The silent auction includes golf experiences, concert tickets, football hospitality and training experiences as well as much more.
