Wybone

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation to our South Yorkshire factory as part of their Rugby League trophy tour!

We invited our friends at Wakefield Hospice along to join the celebrations, before taking the trophy on a tour of our factory floor, giving our hardworking team the chance to see and grab a photo with the trophy! 📸🏭

As proud Social Value Partners of Wakefield Trinity Community Foundation, our partnership goes far beyond rugby.

💙 We’re helping fund opportunities for girls to get involved in rugby through local schools, alongside supporting 400 free match tickets for children from minority backgrounds.

It’s all about breaking down barriers, creating opportunities and giving back to our local communities.

A huge thank you to the Foundation for bringing the trophy to Wybone and making it a memorable day for our team! 🏆👏

A huge thank you to everyone at Wybone who got involved in our Macmillan Coffee Morning. We raised a grand total £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support! ☕ 💚

From bringing in homemade bakes (and helping to eat them!) to donating so generously, together we’ve raised an amazing £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support🎉

It was great to get everyone together from the factory floor and the offices for a cuppa, plenty of cake and, most importantly, to support such a worthwhile cause.

Thank you to everyone at Wybone who baked, donated and joined us! 💚

And that’s a wrap on RWM Expo 2026! ♻️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Wybone stand to chat waste, recycling, upcoming projects and, of course, take a closer look at our miniature Wybone world 👀🏘️

It was brilliant seeing the stand so busy and having the opportunity to showcase not only our products, but the scale of what we can design and manufacture right here in Yorkshire.

From street furniture and recycling solutions to fire-safe waste storage, food waste and bespoke projects…there was plenty squeezed onto Stand CT-G224 (some of it very, very small... 🤏).

Thanks to everyone who visited, and to the Wybone team for making it happen. 💚

Until next year!

We're proud to support Wakefield Hospice 💚

It was a pleasure to donate £500 worth of apron and glove dispensers to support the Hospice’s newly refurbished ward.

Our Production Manager, Andrew Jevons, visited the team last week to deliver the new equipment, which will help keep essential infection control resources accessible to staff while supporting a safe environment for patients.

A huge thank you to the team at Wakefield Hospice for the incredible work you do for the local community. We’re delighted to have been able to contribute in a small way 💚 As a local manufacturer, we look forward to seeing how we can continue to support Wakefield Hospice in the future ♻️

A huge thank you to Wybone 💚

Laura Button, Ward Manager, said: 🗣️“Thank you for your generous donation of essential infection control equipment. The clinical waste bins and apron/glove dispensers will make these resources more accessible to our staff, while complementing our newly refurbished ward and helping us maintain the highest standards of patient care and safety.”

🧡 A safe and anonymous place to surrender unwanted knives in Milton Keynes

One of our Wybone Knife Amnesty Bins is helping provide a permanent surrender point at the Town Hall, working as part of a wider initiative between the Town Council and Thames Valley Police.

For some people, taking an unwanted knife directly to a police station can feel daunting. Providing an accessible amnesty bin gives members of the community another way to safely and anonymously dispose of unwanted knives and other bladed items.

The Town Hall location is one of several knife amnesty points now available across Milton Keynes, helping make safe surrender more accessible throughout the area.

We're proud to see another Wybone product being used to support practical community safety initiatives across the UK. 👏

🇬🇧 Our Knife Amnesty Bins are designed and manufactured in the UK and can be customised with bespoke RAL colours, artwork and campaign branding.

Knife amnesty bin in Town Hall

The Town Council works closely with the local police to address issues within the parish and are always seek ways to support their valuable work.

Both Thames Valley Police and the Town Council understand that handing a knife directly to the police can be a daunting task to many people who may fear repercussions or questions. This is why a knife amnesty bin is installed at the Town Hall. This amnesty bin provides a safe and anonymous way for anyone to dispose of unwanted knives – including old kitchen knives and other sharp objects – helping to remove potential weapons from the streets and reduce knife crime, all without any immediate legal consequences.

The knife amnesty bin can be found just inside the main doors in the Town Hall reception area. It is bright orange so you cannot miss it!

Further knife amnesty bins in Milton Keynes can be found at the following locations:
▪️Grand Union Vineyard Church, Broadlands, Netherfield, MK6 4YP
▪️Milton Keynes Police Station, Witan Gate, CMK, MK9 2DS
▪️Frank Moran Centre, Melrose Avenue, West Bletchley, MK3 6PA
▪️Sycamore House, Drayton Road, Bletchley, MK2 3RR
