⭐️⭐️ THIS POST IS NOTHING TO DO WITH CARPETS, WE WANT TO HELP PEOPLE IN THE TOWN ❤️
So this morning I read a post on Arbroath online from someone saying they had a freezer full of food to give away for free. The response was incredible.
Are people in this town really struggling that much they have to rely on being donated food?
Are people waking up every morning wondering where there next meal is coming from?
Are people waking up, not looking forward to the day because they have nothing?
Are single mums / dads seriously not able to give their kids some enjoyment, even at the weekend because they are skint?
What is this town / world coming to?
I guess I’m in a very fortunate position where I’ve never really wanted for anything. I grew up with loving parents who worked hard to give us what we needed. I had holidays every year, I had food every day, nice home cooked food. I was / am very fortunate in life!!!
Sometimes life is so fast, we don’t think of people struggling, sitting at home with no heating, no food, no money to give their kids just that little bit of hope and enjoyment in life.
Most Fridays I finish work and think nothing of going to the pub, spending money on 🍺, maybe a football bet, maybe throw some money in the bandit 🙈🙈 (normally losing).
❤️ so now on a Friday (for the next 4 weeks) KD Carpet Cleaners are going to provide £50 worth of shopping to someone who genuinely needs it or maybe use the cash instead to take your kids to Pleasureland or to McDs (a treat, that I was so lucky to receive regularly growing up).
We all need things in life to look forward to and the thought of families / kids in this town having absolutely nothing is just heartbreaking.
We don’t expect anyone to comment on this post. You can message us directly!! Of course we can’t give to everyone, but our aim is every Friday just to make that one person’s life a little easier!!
