Been a little quiet on here lately… but that’s only because we’ve been flat out keeping busy! 🫡

After recently jet washing a customer’s driveway in Arbroath, we were asked back to provide a quote for a full roof clean and biocide treatment 🙂

Out in Montrose for this one! 👌

We were originally called out to inspect leaking and damaged gutters, but the customer decided to have the roof cleaned while we were there too! 😊

All areas were fully cleared of moss and loose debris, the roof was blown down, gutters emptied, and all waste bagged and taken away. We then treated the entire roof to protect it and keep it looking great. 💪✨

A client recently contacted us about heavy black staining on their exterior wall 🫣 — something that can really take away from the look of a property.

We arranged a visit to inspect the affected areas and discuss the best solution. Although there was no external tap available, that wasn’t a problem for us 👍. We explained that we can bring our own water supply in a bowser, allowing us to complete the job without any inconvenience to the customer.

Once we got the go-ahead, we returned to carry out a professional soft wash treatment, carefully removing the staining before rinsing down all areas to finish the job.

🚧 Leaking Gutters? Don’t Ignore the Warning Signs! 🚧

Regular gutter maintenance is essential to protect your property from water damage. In this case, the customer had previous repair work carried out 🫣—including sealant applied to the end cap and union Unfortunately, sealant is only a temporary fix and will eventually fail.

🔍 What was the issue?
The internal seal had worn down so badly that water was bypassing it entirely, leading to overflow problems.

✅ Our solution:
The correct and long-term fix was to replace the end cap and union completely, rather than patching it again. That’s exactly what we did—installing a brand-new end cap with a fresh seal for lasting performance 😁👌
