This room had been closed off for many years after health challenges and life became too overwhelming.

Today was the first step towards bringing it back to life again 💛

In around 3 hours we created space, cleared years of buildup and started transforming this room into a future office area.

My client was so happy to be able to safely walk into the room again and is already picking furniture and thinking about what colour she would like on the walls.

That’s the part I love most helping someone slowly fall in love with their home again.

A lot of the time it’s not the job itself that feels impossible, it’s knowing how to begin ✨

Illness doesn’t just affect your body it can affect your home, your routine, and your peace of mind too.

Paperwork builds up. Surfaces disappear. Rooms become harder to use. And before long, guilt starts to creep in.

The place that once felt comforting can begin to feel overwhelming.
This is an ongoing journey where, little by little, we are taking the space back and lifting the weight that came with it 🤍

Today we worked through paperwork, organised what needed keeping, shredded what was no longer needed, cleared the table, and created calm, usable space again. We also moved the items underneath the table to one side, ready to sort through together next week.
We’re putting simple systems in place so it feels easier to stay on top of moving forward.

My aim is to help her feel more at peace in her home again and remind her that things can improve step by step.

Today she said she feels like something within her has shifted. She feels lighter.

No judgement. No pressure. Just kind, practical support and steady progress.

It’s just getting started

Like anything in life

going to the gym
the first step is just putting your shoes on

It’s the same with cleaning and decluttering
You look around and see everything at once
and it feels overwhelming before you’ve even begun

So you leave it
not because you don’t care
but because it feels like too much
We think too big
we focus on the whole house
instead of one small step

But it doesn’t have to be everything at once
Sometimes it’s just one surface
one room
one small start

That’s what begins to shift it
Real homes get lived in
Real lives get busy

And it’s okay if it feels a bit much sometimes

Weekends aren’t meant for catching up on everything…

They’re for resting, spending time with family, or simply having a moment to breathe…

And for some, it’s not even about time
Sometimes it’s health, energy or just a difficult season and keeping on top of things can feel overwhelming

You don’t have to do it all on your own
We currently have a few regular cleaning slots available:
• Monday (fortnightly, 2 hours) – 12:30pm, starting 20th
• Tuesday (fortnightly, 3 hours) – 11:30am/12pm, starting 14th
• Wednesday (weekly, 2 hours) – around 12:30pm/1pm
• Thursday (weekly, 2 hours) – around 12:30pm/1pm

We focus on bathrooms, kitchen, hoovering and dusting helping your home feel calmer, lighter, and easier to stay on top of

Not everything builds up overnight 🧼
Sometimes illness, life or just a hard season means things get left… and it can start to feel impossible to catch up

My client has been very unwell and hasn’t been able to keep on top of the bathroom and that’s okay

This wasn’t a quick tidy
This was 2 hours spent on the bath, shower screen and tiles to bring it back to a space that feels calm again 💛

My client can now enjoy their space again
I was so happy to be able to help we’re slowly but surely getting things back under control

It’s ok to ask for help
We can’t do it all

No judgement, ever just support when you need it.
