its that time of year again when we all start thinking about getting the Xmas lights and ladders out in preparation for the big man coming.

A roof of two halves! 😆

Anyone after a couple shifts helping with cleaning roofs/soffits etc.

If your scared of using ladders or working at heights then you need not apply AND you also mustn't be scared of good hard graft 🤣🤣

A lovely transformation on this hall, stairs and landing. Stairwell painted in the customers chosen colour which needed 3 coats, due to the strong colour change, to give a solid finish. However once applied, it wasn't to their taste. New paint colour purchased and Stairwell had a recoat in a more royal blue.

All walls were filled and sanded prior to painting. Skirtings caulked to help give nice crisp lines.
Once all painting was completed, the funky Laura Ashley wallpaper was then applied to finish everything off.

Love the transformation of this place!

A full freshen up for this lovely wee flat, just I'm time for the new tenants moving in.

Just one of the many jobs completed recently.

Wallpaper stripped ✅️
Walls sanded - wallpaper & paste removal ✅️
Holes & voids filles ✅️
Walls sanded again ✅️
Walls sealed to prevent paint cracking (crazing) ✅️
Ceiling painted ✅️
Walls painted ✅️
Woodwork painted (doors getting changed) ✅️

A good bit of preparation went into getting these walls nice, smooth and paintable after the wallpaper being removed. All walls were sanded to remove all remaining buts of wallpaper remains and dried up paste. The walls were then filled and re-sanded leaving ot feeling smooth. Afterwards the walls were sealed. It's vital that all walls are sanded and sealed after the removal of wallpaper to give the best possible finish.

Why seal the walls?.... Paste residue! No matter how well the walls are sanded there will most likely be some residue left on the walls. When paint is applied over paste residue it causes a reaction to the paint and once dried the paint gives a cracked looking effect.

This roof was treated with an environmentally friendly biocide after removing all the moss. This treatment will gently remove all the dirt & grime that has built up over time.

Another recent job completed.

Are you constantly picking up moss from your garden that's fallen from your roof? If so, get in touch as I can easily stop this from happening.

Applying the biocide afterwards, which soaks into the tile as well as all the little gaps and crevices, kills off all the remaining bits of moss that are trapped under tile joints etc. This resets the whole organic growth cycle which can take upto 5-6 years to re-establish itself and gently removes all the dirt and grime that has built up on the surface of the tiles restoring them to near their original colour.

The biocide I use is environmentally friendly and contains no bleach/ammonia. It is specifically designed for cleaning external surfaces
