We have a lake with at least 100 carp and god knows what else. It has never been fished. If you are an expert; come and try it and see what you can get.

Situated at one end of our 18th century long-house, Hulotte is the most recently renovated of the cottages at Les Chouettes having been completed in summer 2015. Hulotte provides modern spacious family accommodation whilst retaining many original features.

The cottage is entered from a private driveway into the large dining area. There is a step up into the well equipped galley kitchen which includes fridge-freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, and range of other small kitchen appliances. French doors lead from the kitchen to the private south-facing terrace with patio and barbeque.

An arch from the dining area leads to the homely, spacious lounge with original feature open fireplace. The downstairs double bedroom leads from the lounge and in turn to a large ensuite shower room with double size shower.

Stairs from the lounge lead to a second bedroom, a delightful galleried twin with spectacular original beams. A family bathroom can be accessed from the stairs and bedroom.

Situated at the far end of the 18th century “long house”, the renovation of Hibou was completed in 2014. Last inhabited in the early 19th century it is now our delightful, spacious, one-bedroomed, up-side-down cottage.

The cottage is entered from a private driveway into the ground floor hall off of which are the very spacious bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a super king size bed and additional day bed which can be made up to guests individual requirements. The large bathroom has separate bath and shower cubicle. Off of the hall there is also a small under-stair utility room with washing machine.

Stairs lead from the hall to the first floor open-plan living area. Here guests will find a fully fitted kitchen including fridge, cooker, hob and microwave, lounge and dining areas. The feature renovated tile fireplace has a log burner. French doors from the dining area lead onto a private balcony and stairs from here lead to a private terrace both having stunning views over the surrounding countryside.
