Today was a boxy bag class at the Art Studio. 8 ladies came to make a bag. I will be making more of them, for sure.

The classes are coming, the classes are coming! October 14 is the first sewing class of the fall. We are making 3 projects that day. I have all the materials prepped for this class. We are going to use patterns from "By Annie". She has a beginner series using these patterns, so they are freely available. We wre going to learn how to follow her patterns, and learn her techniques, making any of her amazing patterns easier to follow going forward.
We are going to make a little basket (or 2), a project pouch, and a name (or cell phone) holder.
It will be a full day at the Art Gallery, but it should be a lot of fun!

Love this one! So much inspiration to make my own farm themed quilt.

Today's quilt is a pretty pinwheel quilt with blue minkie on the back. Nice to get some quilting done while its raining.

Rainy days = quilty days!

Quilting ferns, trying something different. The back is cuddletex and really shows the quilting.

Experimenting with size for waterproof canvas bags. These would make a great beach or swim bag. I put them for sale in the gallery.

When its too hot to be outside I retreat into my sewing room.
I am working on a pouch that has 2 compartments, and one side will have a spot for some wipes. I had thought it would be handy in the car for all sorts of things, not.just handy to hang on a stroller.
I need to redesign the measurements so thst I am happier with them, but they are usable.
I feel like Goldilocks, one is too small, one is a little too big, maybe the next one will be "just right".

Sew much fun, sew relaxing. Not able to sew outside without a screen tent.
