We are expanding the size of our family, and have the following positions that we are accepting applications for:
Part-Time:
DELIVERY DRIVER- 4 hours per day, 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday) between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.
Description- Successful applicant will be responsible for a dedicated daily pickup and delivery for Michelin Tire at their Granton Plant in Pictou Co. The delivery driver is responsible for delivering clean laundry and picking up dirty laundry to 6 drop points within the plant. Laundry is loaded and unloaded by hand, so there is some heavy lifting required, however, you will have someone with you from our facility to help with loading and unloading.
Requirements- Minimum Valid NS Class 5 Drivers License
Clean Drivers Abstract. Should be comfortable operating a cube van, including backing into tight spaces, in all weather conditions.
Full-Time:
LAUNDRY ATTENDANT- Multiple positions available, with varying shift structures, all offering minimum 40 hours per week, with very competetive wages, and group health benefits plan.
Description- Responsible for receiving and processing dirty industrial laundry. Loading and unloading washing machines and Dryers, and folding/ packaging clean laundry for transport back to customer.
Requirements- Strong Work Ethic, reliability, and ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a standing position for long periods. Past Experience with industrial laundry systems strongly considered an asset.
GENERAL LABORER- Monday to Friday- 07:00 to 15:00. Competetive pay, and group health benefits plan.
Description- This position will be a support float position, supporting both our firefighter bunker gear division, and our industrial laundry division. Responsibilities will include:
performing Decontamination of firefighter bunker gear, helping with receiving, and disassembly of gear to prep for cleaning, helping with industrial laundry/ folding as necessary, and helping to load and unload delivery trucks, as necessary.
Requirments: Strong Work Ethic, reliability, and ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a standing position for long periods. Past or present experience with firefighting strongly considered an asset.
SEAMSTRESS/ SEAMSTER- Monday to Friday- 07:00 to 15:00.

Description: Our Seamstress/ Seamsters work within our Firefighter bunker gear and Equestrian Divisions; performing intricate repairs, size alterations, and custom modifications to Firefighter bunker gear, and horse blankets.
Requirements- Must be experienced with industrial sewing machines and surgers. Experience must be working on clothing, and performing intricate work, not just straight line stitching. While specific training will be provided, it is expected that successful applicant will already possess a strong tailoring background.
