💜💛 HELP US HELP DESTINEE 💛💜
Endometriosis and adenomyosis are often misunderstood diseases that affect millions of women worldwide. Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, scar tissue, organ damage, and often excruciating pain. Adenomyosis occurs when this tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus, leading to severe cramping, heavy bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, fatigue, and other debilitating symptoms. For many women, these conditions impact their ability to work, care for their families, maintain relationships, and enjoy everyday life.
My sister, Destinee, has been courageously battling both endometriosis and adenomyosis for years. After a long journey of pain, appointments, and searching for answers, she now has the opportunity to travel to Mexico for specialized surgery that could finally provide relief and give her a chance at a better quality of life.
As her family, we're doing everything we can to help make that happen.
