✨This isn’t just a career change. This is a transformation. One that came from pain, growth, and finally choosing myself…
For years, I worked in mental health. I gave people my energy, my compassion, my time (often at the cost of my own). I stood beside people through their darkest moments, holding space, offering support, and pouring from a cup that was constantly being drained and often not being filled back up…
But behind the scenes, I was slowly unraveling in a workplace that didn’t respect me. A toxic environment that demanded everything and gave nothing back. One where I constantly felt undervalued, silenced, and burned out, while still showing up with a full heart. That kind of damage doesn’t happen overnight. It creeps in. It makes you question your worth. And for a long time, I stayed because I thought I had to.
But here’s the truth: staying in spaces that break you isn’t loyalty, it’s self-abandonment!
So I made a decision. I walked away…
It was one of the hardest and most liberating things I’ve ever done. I grieved the loss of the role, the identity, the mission I thought I’d carry forever. I left behind people I cared about. I cried. I doubted. But deep down, I knew it was time.
And in that space, that raw, wide-open space where fear meets freedom. Something incredible happened: I remembered who the hell I am.
I’ve always had a passion for trucks. For shine. For detail. For the feeling of pride when something rough around the edges gets transformed into something unapologetically bold. That passion never left. It just sat quietly, waiting for me to be ready.
So I took the leap. I started my own detailing business. A woman. In a male-dominated industry. With nothing but drive, fire, and a deep belief that I can build something better, on my own terms.
This business isn’t just about clean rides (though trust me, they’ll gleam). It’s about reclaiming my voice, my worth, and my power. It’s about showing up with the same heart I brought to mental health work, but now, I pour that love into something that fuels me, too.
To anyone who’s ever been burned out, boxed in, or told to stay small… I see you. We don’t have to dim our light to survive. We get to take up space. Loudly. Boldly. And beautifully.
Here’s to healing. Here’s to growth. And here’s to every shiny, powerful mile ahead.
