Jenn & Co. Housekeeping is looking for another wonderful human to join our team!

We’re a small but growing, queer-owned and inclusive Saskatoon business, and we’re proud to be building a team rooted in compassion, kindness, and genuinely helping make life a little easier for the people we serve.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Reliable and committed
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
• Compassionate and non-judgmental
• Comfortable working independently
• Available **Monday–Friday between 9 AM–5 PM**
• Has a valid driver’s licence + reliable vehicle

A little real talk: housekeeping is physically demanding work! You’ll be on your feet, bending, lifting, scrubbing, vacuuming and moving throughout the day. We want someone who genuinely enjoys active, hands-on work.

15–20 hours/week to start, with opportunities for more hours as you complete training and gain confidence.

Starting wage: $16.50/hour
No weekends + no stat holidays
Training provided
Criminal record check required

Experience is an asset, but finding the right human matters more to us.

This summer has been absolutely WILD, and the last few weeks especially have been a lot.

There have been quite a few changes behind the scenes. We’ve had some staffing changes, welcomed two new amazing humans to our team, and I’ve been working hard to make sure everyone is properly trained, supported and confident before we start adding more clients.

We’ve also had team members navigating some incredibly difficult grief and loss recently. Those stories aren’t mine to share, but as someone who genuinely cares about the people who work with me, part of my role has been supporting my team through some really hard moments.

There has been a LOT of pivoting.

As a neurodivergent business owner, I’m also going to be transparent, my brain has had a few too many tabs open lately. Between being a business owner, boss, trainer, scheduler, cleaner, administrator, mom and human, the overwhelm has definitely caught up with me.

Something I talk about often with ADHD and mental health is recognizing when we’re overwhelmed and giving ourselves permission to adjust. Sometimes we need to slow down, reassess, pivot and find a better way forward so we can continue showing up as the best versions of ourselves.

Right now, my priority is supporting my team and making sure our new team members are properly trained before adding more homes to their schedules.

With fall and back-to-school around the corner, this ADHD brain is VERY ready for some routine again.

I’m hoping to start working through our waitlist over the next few days and into next week. If you’ve reached out and have been patiently waiting, I haven’t forgotten about you!

Jenn & Co. Housekeeping is a locally owned, queer-owned small business right here in Saskatoon, and we're growing! We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cleaning, loves helping others, and wants to be part of a supportive team that believes kindness and compassion belong in the workplace.

We know that cleaning isn't "just cleaning." A clean home can reduce stress, support mental health, and give people the chance to simply breathe a little easier. That's the kind of difference we strive to make every day.

✨ We're looking for someone who:
• Loves cleaning and has an eye for detail.
• Enjoys helping people and takes pride in a job well done.
• Can work independently while also being part of a supportive team.
• Has a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Can provide a Criminal Record Check.

Position Details:
• Monday–Friday (no weekends/stat holidays)
• Ideally available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Starting at approximately 15–20 hours per week during training.
• Opportunity to grow into 30+ hours per week as our client list continues to grow.

Experience is a bonus, but a positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others are what matter most.

☀️ SUMMER UPDATE ☀️

Well... this escalated quickly. 😅

Summer is officially in full swing, and I have been absolutely blown away by the number of inquiries we've received over the past little while. First of all. thank you. Truly. Every referral, message, and recommendation means the world to this little business.

At the moment, Jenn & Co. Housekeeping has a waitlist for new clients.

If you're reaching out looking for cleaning services, don't worry, we'd still love to hear from you! The best way to join the waitlist is by filling out the contact form on our website. That helps me keep everyone's information organized (because my ADHD has been trying to organize it with approximately 47 browser tabs).

🌿 What happens next?

You'll be added to our waitlist.
I'll be booking consultations throughout the month.
As availability opens up, I'll start reaching out to people in the order that best fits our schedule and service areas.

Summer always brings a unique juggling act. Between staff vacations, kids being home from school, and making sure our team gets the time they deserve with their families, our schedule looks a little like a game of Tetris... except all the pieces are moving. 😂

**📣 Update — July 1, 2026**

First off, thank you. ❤️

I wanted to share a quick update because I've been a little quieter than usual over the past week.

Unfortunately, I came down with a severe ear infections that landed me in the emergency room. Between the pain, medications, and brain fog, I wasn't able to work, answer messages, or keep up with admin the way I normally do. My inbox, however, clearly saw this as an opportunity to multiply. 😅

The good news is... I'm back!

I'm still catching up on emails, consultations, and admin, so if you've been waiting to hear from me, I promise I haven't forgotten about you.

With school out for the summer and single-mom life in full swing while my daughter is home half the time, my personal cleaning schedule is also at capacity. Between returning to clients' homes and catching up on the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running, I'm doing my best to get back into my normal routine.

Our July cleaning schedule is, for the most part, finalized. If you've recently reached out about becoming a client, we do currently have a waitlist. Over the next couple of weeks I'll be booking consultations and working my way through the waitlist as availability opens.

As many of you know, Jenn & Co. is still a small (but growing!) business, and I'm the one handling inquiries, scheduling, consultations, and client communication. I truly appreciate the patience and kindness you've shown while I get caught up.

If you've been waiting for a reply and don't hear from me soon, please send me another message. Last week's brain fog was no joke, and I'd much rather have you bump your message than wonder if I've missed it.

I'll be honest, the last few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind.

Coming back from my trip out west (which was very much needed), I've been doing a lot of reflecting. While I was away, I found myself thinking about the last six months and the impact this little business has had, not just on my life, but on the lives of the people who trust us with their homes.

To our clients: we see you.

We see the hard work you're doing behind the scenes. We see the overwhelm, the growth, the grief, the healing, and the seasons where simply getting through the day is enough. And I want you to know that we are so incredibly proud of you.

Over the years, we've watched families grow, celebrated new babies and pets, and walked alongside people through some incredibly difficult seasons. One thing I never take for granted is the trust that comes with being welcomed into someone's home. Your home is personal, and allowing us into that space is something I'm endlessly grateful for.

This business was never just about cleaning. It's about creating peace of mind, giving people back time, supporting mental health, and helping people feel a little more at ease in their own space.

Today, I'm feeling grateful. Grateful for my team, grateful for our clients, and grateful for the trust you've placed in us.

We're not just cleaning houses. We're helping people make room for life, and that's something I'll never stop being proud of. ❤️

Well... this feels a little wild. 😅

I recently applied for a grant.

A few years ago I was just trying to build a business that could support my family. Today, I'm looking at ways to grow our team, invest in training, upgrade equipment, and continue improving the experience we provide our clients throughout Saskatoon and the surrounding area.

What I'm most proud of isn't the growth itself—it's the impact.

We've helped clients who were overwhelmed, struggling with their mental health, navigating neurodivergence, working long hours, raising families, and simply needing support. Sometimes what we provide is more than a clean home. Sometimes it's peace of mind, a fresh start, or one less thing to carry.

Whether we receive the grant or not, I'm proud that I put myself out there and applied.

I'm proud of our team.
I'm proud of our clients.
And I'm proud of how far this little business has come.

Over the years, we've been fortunate to grow through referrals, trust, and support from our community. I'm excited to keep planting seeds, creating opportunities for our team, and continuing to expand our impact in Saskatoon and the surrounding area in the years to come.

As a queer-owned business, Pride Month means a lot to me personally, but it also deeply reflects the values that Jenn & Co Housekeeping was built on from the very beginning.

This business has never just been about cleaning homes. It’s about creating spaces that feel safe, supportive, welcoming, and free of judgment for both our clients and our team.

I’m incredibly proud to work alongside people who value compassion, empathy, inclusivity, authenticity, and respect for every human who opens their door to us.

Pride is celebration, but it’s also resilience. It’s community. It’s learning how to exist fully as yourself in spaces that haven’t always felt safe to do so.

I know how important it is to feel accepted, respected, and comfortable being yourself. That’s something I will always strive to protect within this company for our employees, our clients, and the homes we enter every day.
